Invisible (C.T.H)

{Chapter Eleven}

Calum's POV

I can't believe she said yes! I've been waiting most of my life for this moment to come. I'm so happy I can call her mine, now. I've promised myself and Maddie that I'm here to protect her, and I plan on keeping that promise.

I'm glad everything with you know who is over with. I just can't believe someone could be such a dick to a girl like Maddie, it makes me pissed. Speaking of Maddie, I'm currently on the couch with her in the living area of the bus with the others. We're watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because, why not?

I look over at Maddie and smile widely, she's so beautiful. I lean over and whisper in her ear.

"Hey Maddie, want to surprise the guys with this? Luke told me a while back that even though he doesn't want any of us dating you, he'd still let one of us because he knows we would never hurt you. You're like a sister to Michael and Ashton, and you're like, well, you're something special to me," I say. She bites her lip slightly, then replies.

"Yeah, I do. Let's do it when this is over. Which, is only like, 5 minutes," she states. I nod and smile, looking to see if anyone is watching before kissing her cheek. She smiles and looks down, a blush clearly appearing on her face.

I love how she can look so beautiful doing absolutely nothing. I smile again and turn my attention back to the movie, sneaking glances at Maddie every so often.

*After the movie*

So, the movie is over and Maddie and I are getting ready to tell the guys about us. I clear my throat.

"Guys, I have something to say," I speak up, getting the attention of the other three. I look over at Maddie and notice she's panicking a little, so I grab her hand and gently rub my thumb over the back of it, reassuring her to calm down. I notice the others giving me suspicious looks.

"Let's get this over with," I mumbled to myself quietly.

"Maddie and I are dating," I say, immediately seeing the reactions I hoped for. Michael and Ashton went crazy, while Luke just smiled and slightly smirked at me.

"I knew it! I knew this was going to happen eventually. Took you long enough, Calum," Luke stated. I laughed and rolled my eyes, glad to have everyone happy about this.

"Just remember, though, Cal. You hurt her, I break you," Luke added. I nodded.

"I won't hurt her, Luke. You know this. When I care about somebody enough, I don't hurt them," I reply. He nods and gives me a pat on the back, then gives Maddie a gigantic hug. She laughs and hugs back, burying her head into the crook of his neck. God, she's so beautiful.

"That's not all. Maddie, want to fill them in on what we just made happen?" I ask. She nods and smiles brightly.

"Logan is gone," she says, almost shouting from excitement. All the guys cheer and Luke hugs her again, tighter than the last one.

"Oh my god, this day just got better! I'm so glad that fucker is gone," Michael said. We all agree and slowly settle down, getting on our phones. I get on Twitter and post a picture I took of Maddie earlier of her being goofy and caption it: "@MaddiexHemmo being the goof she always is. She's definitely related to Luke," I laugh and put my phone away, as Maddie pulls hers out.

She opens up Twitter and looks at it, then lightly hits me. "Hey! This isn't fair, you took a picture of me when I wasn't prepared," she exclaimed. I look at her with an eyebrow raised.

"Really, you're saying THAT when you took a picture of Luke and I sleeping then posted it," I reply, slightly smirking.

"Yes, I did. You know why? Because your fans want to see pictures of you and the guys, not of me. Not some ''tag-along" who is getting in the way of your career,'' she replied, slightly frowning. I immediately stop and hook my thumb under her chin, making her face me.
