Invisible (C.T.H)

{Chapter Seven}

Maddie's POV

I slowly wake up, realizing I'm the only one awake. I quietly get out of the bed I'm sharing with Luke, making sure not to wake him or Calum. Speaking of Calum, now that he knows about my feelings for him, I have to keep my distance. I hate awkwardness between my friends and I, but this is absolutely different.

I grab some clothes from my bag, going into the bathroom to shower. I lock the door, before turning on the water and letting it heat up. I strip and get in, doing all the necessary actions. Once I'm done, I get out and dry off. I put on my favorite Green Day shirt, my skinny jeans, and my black converse. I walk out of the bathroom and decide to make the guys and myself some breakfast.

I look around the kitchen of the hotel room, looking for the ingredients I need to make pancakes. I find what I'm looking for and get straight to work. I take my time, making sure every pancake is the perfect size and color. I finally get done with all of the pancakes half an hour later. I walk across the hall to Michael and Ashton's room, seeing if they want some food.

I knock on the door, and Ashton answers. "Good morning, Maddie! What can I help you with?" Ash asked.

"Good morning, Ash! I made pancakes for breakfast and I was wondering if you and Michael wanted to have some since I made a lot," I reply while softly laughing.

"Pancakes sound so good. Yeah, we'll be over in a few. In the meantime, you might want to go wake up Luke and Calum as we know them with their sleep," he replies. I nod and smile, before walking back to my room with the two sleeping guys.

I go into the bedroom and jump on top of Luke, making him groan. "Mads, get off! I'm trying to sleep," Luke says, slightly irritated.

"Too bad, Luke. I made breakfast for everyone, plus Mikey and Ash are on their way over, too. So get up, lazy ass!" I reply. He groans before sitting up and getting out of the bed, going into the bathroom.

Luke comes out a few minutes later, dressed and more awake.

"Hey Luke, will you please wake Cal up while I go get everything ready for us to eat?" I ask when he sits back down on the bed. He nods and grabs a pillow, throwing it at the tan boy's face.

"Cal, get your ass up!" Luke practically shouts through the room. I hear Calum groan.

"Shut the fuck up, Luke! I'm getting up," he replies.

I roll my eyes and go into the kitchen, getting down plates and the silverware for us to eat with. I put the plate of pancakes on the table, before putting down the other dishes needed.

I hear a knock on the door and look out of the peephole, seeing Michael and Ash on the other side. I open the door and let them in, yelling for Luke and Calum to get their asses in here. We all go to the table and eat quietly, most of us still not fully awake. By most of us, I mean Luke, Calum and Michael.

"Wow Maddie. These are some fantastic pancakes," Michael says after he finishes his last bite. I get a chorus of "true's" and "they really are's" from the other three.

"Thank you, guys," I reply while smiling. I pick up all of the plates and bring them to the sink, washing them and putting them away.

"Since today is an off day, what should we do?" Ash asked us.

"We could just stay in and hang out, maybe go swimming at the pool," Calum suggested. I nervously gulp and look at the others, waiting for their responses.

"I could actually go for a swim, how about you guys?" Ash replied. Michael and Luke nod, leaving only me to answer. They all look at me and patiently waiting.

"Mads, what do you say?" Luke asked me.

I start mentally panicking, not knowing what to say. The only person who has seen me in a swimsuit is Luke, none of the others have. I can't wear one in front of them, they'd be disgusted.

I can't form any words, so I just nod. "Alright, go get ready then," Ash orders us. Him and Michael leave to go get ready. Luke, Calum and I do the same.

I grab my blue bikini and cover up from my bag, going into the bathroom to change. I strip after locking the door, looking at myself in the mirror. In my eyes, I'm fat. In everyone else's eyes, I'm not. I sigh and put on the swimsuit and cover up, then head out of the bathroom. Luke and Calum are already dressed and waiting, so we grab our towels and head to the indoor pool.

We arrive to the pool to find it empty. "Thank God, nobody else to see me in this swimsuit," I thought to myself. Ashton and Calum are the first ones in the pool, jumping in and laughing. Luke follows pursuit and gets in, leaving Michael and I the only ones out.

"Mads, come join us. The water is fine," Luke calls to me. I hesitantly nod and make sure none of the others are looking, before taking off my cover up and jumping in.

We spend the whole day at the pool, messing around and having a good time. When we decide to stop swimming, it's already 9 p.m. We head back to our rooms, not even bothering to shower because we're so tired. We change into pajamas, and just talk for a while.

When we finally decide to sleep, it's half past 12. As soon as Luke and Calum's heads hit their pillows, they're out cold. I, on the other hand, can't sleep. After many restless minutes of tossing and turning, I get out of the bed and go out to the balcony. I have this really uneasy feeling in my stomach like something bad is going to happen, but I let it slide while I look at the scenery.

I think about past memories involving Logan, I think about my feelings for Calum, my love for my brother and the guys, I just think about everything. I don't know when or how it happened, but I find myself letting drowsiness take over my body, as I slowly fall asleep on the balcony.

A/N:

Heyo, I'm still alive! Sorry it took me forever to update, I just kind of forgot about it. I PROMISE I will update more often. Probably not next week anytime soon, but I will eventually. I hope you enjoy this chapter like I did writing it, even though it's just a filler chapter and it's complete shit.

Anyway, I can't believe Ashton is now 22! I was going to update earlier yesterday, but I didn't have the time. I might update on Luke's bday, who knows. I said MIGHT, not will. If I don't update, don't rant to me about how I said I would update.
