Calum's POV

"Mum," I called as I walked into the kitchen.

"Yes Calum?" She questioned, turning her attention my direction.

"Michael wanted me to tell you that his parents are throwing a dinner party tonight for all of us," I informed my mum, showing her the text I received from Michael a few minutes ago.

"Okay. We'll go," she confirmed, making me nod and I went to text Michael back. After I did that, I texted Maddie.

Cal: Hey, baby girl

Maddie: Hi baby!

Cal: Did you hear about Michael's parent's dinner party tonight?

Maddie: Yeah, I did. Our family is going, what about you?

Cal: We're going as well

Maddie: I'm glad. Hey, what are you doing right now?

Cal: Nothing, why?

Maddie: Will you please come over so I can see you?

Cal: Of course I will, baby girl. I'll be there in a few

Maddie: Yay! Okay, I love you

Cal: I love you, too

After I got off the phone with Maddie, I went back to the kitchen.

"Hey mum, Luke wants to hang out. Can I go over there?" I asked hopeful

"Yes, you can. You could show up to the dinner party with the Hemmings as well if you'd like," she replied, making me nod.

"Okay, thank you. Bye mum," I kissed her cheek and walked out of the front door, getting in my car.

I pulled into Luke's driveway and got out of my car, walking up to the front door and knocking rhythmically. I stood on the porch for a few seconds when I heard the door open and was met by the blue eyes of the girl I love.

"Hi baby," she whispered since we haven't told anyone yet. We're planning on doing it tonight at the dinner party so everyone besides Michael, Ashton, and Luke know.

"Hey, baby girl," I whispered back as I hugged her and she let me inside. We walked in and Liz smiled.

"Well, hello again, Calum," she greeted cheerfully.

"Hi, Mrs. Hemmings," I replied, giving her a hug.

"Luke's upstairs in his room if you'd like to hang out there," she informed me, making me nod.

"Okay. Thank you, Mrs. Hemmings," I politely thanked her and was about to walk upstairs, when I was interrupted by a pat on my back.

"Calum, mate, how are you?" Jack asked me smiling.

"I'm good, Jack. How are you?" I questioned, smiling back.

"Good, good. Well, I won't keep you from hanging out with Luke and Maddie now," he said as he disappeared into the kitchen.

Maddie and I walked upstairs to Luke's room, hearing him listening to music. I knocked on his door and the music paused, then the door opened.

"Oh, hey, Calum," he spoke, letting us inside his room.

"I invited Calum over. I hope you don't mind, Luke," Maddie spoke.

"I don't mind, Mads. I figured you would invite him over sooner or later, if not you, then I would. Plus, I know it's the only way you two can hang out without acting too suspicious," Luke replied, making Maddie sigh in relief.
