The first day back at school had finally arrived and the group couldn't have been more excited.

They were seniors, finally.

Liz and Davina have been planning this day since they first got into high school.

Liz always imagined herself with Flash and thought if anything Davina would find herself her own prince charming: a fellow footballer to be exact.

But instead, Davina walked towards Liz and Flash hand in hand with Peter, both of them wearing big smiles on their faces.

"Oh god. Here we go with their love crap making us all want to throw up," Liz complained when they joined them.

"Oh please." Davina protested, "I had to suffer for years watching you two go through your honeymoon phase over and over again. This is my chance."

The two only rolled their eyes, Liz shaking her head as she gave her best friend a look, "Does this mean you're going to tell me all about your vacation?"

Before Davina could respond, Flash chimed in,"Why would you want to hear about these two sexing it up while they were away?"

Peter and Davina's eyes grew wide, Liz laughing while Davina hit his arm, "Eugene Thompson!"

He only laughed though, shrugging as he closed his locker and turned to Liz, "See you in class babe."

"Wait. What?"

He gave her a look now, "Let's be real this is going to be Davina and Liz time and I'd rather not hear all the details about how Parker-"

"Goodbye Flash!" Davina interrupted, not wanting him to finish that sentence which only made him smirk as he gave the two girls kisses on the cheek before leaving, walking to class.

Once he walked away, Davina turned to Peter batting her eyelashes, Peter chuckled, "I get it. I'll go find MJ and Ned. See you after school?"

Davina was quick to nod, puckering her lips which he was quick to kiss before turning to leave himself, going in the opposite direction that Flash did.

Sighing contently, Davina turned to Liz who shook her head with a smile, "Is this really what I was like when Flash and I started dating?"

"Yup," Davina answered simply before linking arms with her and beginning their own walk to their first class together.

And so Davina began telling Liz all about her time off with Peter.

She may have left out the details about helping him improve his web and training with the Natasha Romanoff who Liz wouldn't have known about anyway.

Instead, she stuck to the details she knew would bother Liz the most: her romantic moments with her boyfriend.

Liz still listened to every detail she told her though, honestly missing her best friend the months she's been gone with Peter Parker.
