Being a medical student, Davina spent most of her time in the library when she wasn't in class.

So spending an entire day in one and leaving late at night wasn't new to her.

If anything doing it in Queens was better for her considering she grew up here.

But being away so long, Davina didn't even consider how dangerous some parts of Queens still were or have even gotten worse.

So as she walked home that late night, she didn't think much of the creepy guy across the street until he managed to catch up to her, holding her against the wall demanding her to give him her purse.

Davina did as told, not thinking much of losing cards she could cancel and 20 dollars but he decided to take it further, taking into account the attire she was wearing.

"Your shoes. Give me them."

"Oh fuck off. I'm not walking home barefoot."

That was all it took for the man to get angry, as some guys did when women stick up for themselves, slapping her across the face.

The shock struck her quickly. But she recovered just as fast, wiping the blood from her lip, Davina laughing as she shook her head, "And here I was about to let you go."

Laughing himself, the stranger shook his head, "Let me go? As if you could-"

He was cut off by Davina who had him on the ground within seconds, groaning in pain as she grabbed her purse back.

"Let you go you asshole."

"Woah. Davina?" she suddenly heard, turning to see Peter dressed as Spider-man standing there frozen as he looked between the two.

"Oh hey! Hold on a second. Let me just..."

It felt like déjà vu watching her turn back around to finish her work, leaving the man unconscious on the floor and grabbing her bag as she smiled at Peter,  walking towards him.

"You gonna change or you giving me a ride?"

"Uh. Gi-give me a minute."

Davina nodded as if it were no big deal and walked away, waiting on the street to give him privacy.

While she waited, she was quick to text Matt, letting him know of the delay on her way home, knowing her walks with Peter weren't always fast.

When Peter did join her he was out of breath, fixing his backpack on his shoulder.

"I had to leave a note for the police. Couldn't just leave that guy there."

"You should have." Davina scoffed, shaking her head as they began their walk, "I could've done worse."
