Before anyone knew it the wedding of Liz and Flash's had finally arrived.

But on Liz's 'last day of freedom' she decided she wanted to spend the time with the closest of friends.

Since they couldn't spend the night together, he was being taken out by his friends while Liz and her girls went their separate way.

The best man and maid of honor made sure they wouldn't go anywhere the same as the other and since Davina finally convinced Flash to let someone else be his best man, she didn't have to worry about the two.

She decided to listen to Liz's orders prior to the day saying she just wanted to relax and have a nice time out with her girls, nothing too serious.

And that's what Davina planned. She had a spa day first followed by dinner at the hotel the girls would be staying at which was coincidentally a very popular place and one owned by the best friend of Christian.

The day was going perfect until suddenly drinks made its way to the table by the waitress who smiled at the group.

"That was from those men over there." she confirmed before walking away, leaving the girls to look at the also large group of men.

Liz was quick to stand, holding her hand out, "I'm getting married tomorrow and all these girls are in relationships!"

But one man stuck out from the group, coming over, "I'm getting married too!"

All the girls were quick to look at him with a look, the man sighing as he shook his head, "Oh no. Those were from our only straight friend here. No offense but you girls aren't my type."

That was all Liz needed to hear to warm up to the stranger who the group soon knew to be Tyler who was, unlike her, eager to have some fun.

Davina wanted to remind Liz of her own plan of relaxing but it seemed that was out of the window when Tyler suggested they go to a male strip club.

Liz even used the bride card, Tyler not having to use any card being his friends were eager too, minus that one friend.

It was all set from there.

The girls made their way to the club where one by one they each got more drunk.

Minus Davina of course who insisted on keeping an eye on Liz with Mary Jane's help who never really was a big fan of drinking anyways.

The two watched over the girls, both struggling to make their way to the hotel with all the girls safely.

Davina had to make sure Liz didn't break anything for her big day tomorrow. So you could say she was relieved when they made it to the room, Liz landing on the bed with a giggle.

Davina sighed happily, going to grab a water bottle while MJ counted out the girls, frowning when she realized there was one less girl.

Turning with wide eyes, MJ called for Davina, pointing towards the girls, "We're missing one!"

Davina made her way to MJ just as Liz sat up, slurring between hiccups, "Kate went with that straight guy. Tony I think?"

"God she is so lucky!" One of the girls yelled, throwing herself back on the bed as Liz smiled brightly.

"No I'm lucky! I'm marrying the love of my life tomorrow!"

The girls cheered for Liz who danced around before wrapping her arm around Davina's shoulder.

"We're both lucky. I mean in a few weeks Davina's also marrying the love of her life!"

Davina smiled softly now, MJ doing the same as she helped one of the girls get off the floor.

Both their smiles were quick to drop when they heard the next words coming from Liz's mouth though.

"Davina Parker."

Davina looked at Liz wide eyed as she giggled, "I mean who would've thought?! Peter Parker finally managed to snag the girl he's been in love with foreverrr."

Setting Liz down, Davina was quick to make her look at her, saying in a stern voice, "Liz I am not marrying Peter Parker. I'm marrying Matt. Matthew Wayne, remember?"

"Oh yeah." Liz said with a huff, frowning for a bit before smiling brightly once again.

"Well no biggie, I'm sure you and Peter will fix whatever happened in no time. You love him. He loves you, it's true love. It's kinda how this works."

Seeing the look MJ had from the corner of her eye, Davina was quick to shake her head at Liz, "No. That's not how it's going to work. Peter and I are over. Have been for a long time. He's with MJ now."

Liz cried now, shaking her head, "But you love him!"

"Loved him. Loved him so calm down. Don't cry."

With that Davina brought her into a hug, letting her cry to her little hearts content being her words weren't calming her down.

She just held her until finally she was asleep along with everyone else minus MJ who just stared at the wall blankly.

This wasn't hard for Davina to notice, feeling bad all over again as she thought of what Liz had said and in front of Mary Jane nonetheless.

"You know none of it is true right? What Liz said?"

Scoffing, MJ shook her head, "Which part? The part where you love him, he loves you or you two will get back together eventually?"

"All of it." Davina assured her, "We may have loved each other once upon a time but that's all over now. He's with you and I'm with-"

"Matt. So I've heard... but are you sure you want to go through with marrying him? You won't run off with Pete?"

"No! I-" Davina stopped briefly, feeling Liz stir in her sleep, making sure to pause before looking over at MJ.

"I will always love Peter, that's a given. But I don't like him like I once did- like I do love Matt now. Believe me when I say I won't be leaving Matt for Peter."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. I- I'd leave Matt for Liz before I leave Matt for Peter."

MJ slowly nodded, smiling a bit to reassure Davina, even if she may have not believed it herself.

She didn't know what to think anymore.
