"Because I've realized that no matter where you are or what you're doing, or who you're with, I will always honestly, truly, completely love you. "
May decided that now that her nephew was a married man, he had to take all his things he had stored in her apartment to his own place.
And so just like that, she had the couple's Saturday now filled up with the task of unboxing all of Peter's junk.
Two boxes sat in their bedroom; one labeled keep and the other labeled toss.
Toss had already been filled up, Peter taking the box downstairs while Davina labeled yet another one, ready to fill another box up.
Peter had a lot of little things he no longer needed back from his days when he picked the trash for his equipment.
There was no use for it anymore but he still wanted to keep them for memories sake, in order to keep his past close to him. Davina didn't think that was necessary though, not with all the pictures her and Ned took to make sure the memories were with them forever.
Davina sat on the floor, looking through a box May had labeled Davina which had intrigued her into opening the box despite others being in the way.
The first thing she saw was the things in the box she had given Peter when they first broke up, filled with memories of their relationship the first time around.
It made her sad, looking through all the memories, the ones she had given back to him when he first broke her heart.
And thinking of that, she also thought of Gwen Stacy and when she thought of her, she thought of Matt and their wedding her parents couldn't attend because Harry had killed them.
This box only brought her sadness if anything.
She had to remind herself if anything that they were finally happy now.
They moved past it and were now happily married as Davina inspected the first present she had given Peter: a drawing of them in class.
The glass frame was now cracked though, Davina sighing as she dusted it off but got up nonetheless, ready to hang it up.
It was a symbol of their growing relationship, one she felt like had to be up to represent just that.
Right when she finished hanging it up, she turned to see Peter standing there, smiling when he saw the frame on the wall.
"Oh man. That brings me back."
