One step at a time, Davina was finding herself dealing with the death of her fiancé a lot better than she had been weeks prior.

They finally managed to get her out of the house, most of them thanking Peter for that, happy to see their friend again.

But even if she was back out and about, she still was mourning in her own way.

She followed the same schedule she had been since she got out the house.

She went to work and went back home right after.

If her friends wanted to see her, she'd be more than happy to have them in her home but that was it, she didn't go out other than that.

She wasn't up to going out and she made that clear which they didn't like but they accepted it nonetheless.

Except for this Friday, she decided to stay alone which is why she arrived home late at night after a long day expecting a lazy night in.

She arrived home to a quiet house, exhausted and turning a light on one by one as she made her way deeper into her house.

She proceeded as she always did, only stopping when she noticed a figure sat in Matt's office.

The room she tried to avoid since his death was now the room she was charging for.

Immediately her hand went for the light switch to reveal the shadow that belonged to Harry Osborn.

"You know for someone who's supposed to be in prison I sure see you a lot more than I'm supposed to."

"I escaped," Harry said sheepishly, a small smile on his face but he didn't get one in return from Davina.

"Fair enough." He mumbled, Davina rolling her eyes.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't get my gun and do to you what you did to my parents."

"Because I came to tell you what happened to your fiancé."

Davina resisted the urge to go over and punch that smug look off of his face but something held her back.

The thought of even getting some answers on Matt's death, that'd be enough for her, even if Harry turned out to be a bullshit liar.

She needed something.

So she stood there in silence, looking at Harry as he stood up.

"Are you not going to say anything and let me talk?"

"Yeah. But first, why do you care?"

Sighing, Harry made his way around the desk, picking up the photo he had of the two along the way, "I gotta admit at first I was hurt and hated the guy for taking you but..."

He made his way to her, now holding the photo in front of her, "That smile he managed to get on your face after Parker and I screwed up- well all I ever wanted was for you to be happy."
