After her day spent with Liz and little talk with Matt, it was decided that Davina and Matt would be getting married a lot sooner than either of them thought.

They were excited still nonetheless, Davina happy they were able to agree on it and wanting to continue to plan like her best friend so hastily was.

The one thing she wanted to make sure she was set on though was the dress.

So, she decided to get that done first, telling her brother she'd be stopping by to pick it up that same week.

She couldn't hide the smile that was on her face as she waited for the door to open, her smile not even faltering when Peter came out of the elevator.

Instead she laughed, shaking her head at a blushing Peter who waved awkwardly.

"So this is a weekly thing? You visiting your aunt May?"

"Yeah. I just like to make sure she's alright is all."

Davina nodded in agreement as Peter motioned towards the door, "You here for a weekly dinner with your brother?"

At that point Davina didn't know whether she should tell him or not. He was her ex... but then again he was her friend too, so it should be alright, right?

Davina thought so as she decided to tell the truth, "I um... I'm actually here to pick up my mom's wedding dress so... yeah."

"Oh right." Peter said, trying to smile reassuringly at her, "Preparing for the big day. I remember you telling me about wanting to wear her dress."

"Yeah. It's an important part for me. I can't imagine getting married without it." she spoke truthfully, Peter nodding.

An awkward silence hit them, probably because the two imagined they'd get married, but still, it had Davina wondering what was taking her brother so long to open the door.

Peter didn't even remember he had a key to his aunt May's place until the door opened and standing there was May with a big smile on her face.

"Peter! You're here! You had a key why didn't you just open the door?"

Instead of answering her, he just not so discretely motioned to Davina who smiled softly at May, waving.

"Davina! Sweetheart! Oh! You should stay for dinner!"

Wide eyed, Davina quickly shook her head, "Oh no, I couldn't intrude."

"It wouldn't be an intrusion. I've already had Connor and Jo over as a thank you for last week. It's your turn now."

But Davina stayed put, shaking her head with a kind smile, "It's fine, really-"
