Davina Anderson had been a mystery to everyone- everyone but him of course.

Harry may have stopped his little standoffs with his elders but he definitely didn't stop taking the poisonous doses of venom.
He just got a lot better at hiding it. Davina even started to relax herself, thinking that maybe her boyfriend finally came to his senses and stopped.
He didn't mention his father again and things even seemed to go back to normal with him.
But the reality was Harry didn't stop and instead, he became more addicted to the thing.
Apparently, others had taken a notice of him though, strangers at that.
They didn't exactly know his name and it may not have been a lot but there had certainly been some reports of an angry man terrorizing Queens streets.
Some people compared him to the Hulk while others had a completely new name for him: the Green Goblin.
Harry knew by then that this venom of his gave him a grotesque look, making sure to only take it in the nighttime.
It was then he wanted to try his powers out, going out to test them late at night but making sure to cover his identity as best as he could.
Sure a hoodie wasn't enough but it was the best he could do in a short notice.
After all, he couldn't have Spiderman swooping in to save someone only to discover it had been Harry behind it all along.
Meanwhile, Peter found himself thinking about this Green Goblin guy.
If he were to give a nickname to Norman Osborn it would be exactly that. But he saw Norman's dead body, he saw that he was out of the picture so it couldn't have been him.
He did think it was possible that it was Harry.
After all, that was his best bet.
But when he brought it up to MJ and Ned, they brushed it off. MJ even warned him not to bring it up to Davina, knowing how happy she was again with her boyfriend.
Peter knew this too, making sure not to bring it up to her not knowing what her reaction would be.
He knew he had to do something though and he planned to do just that.
He planned a night of surveillance, already telling his aunt May he'd be spending the night at Ned's when in reality he'd be outside of Harry's place monitoring his every move.
What he didn't know was that the night he chose to monitor Harry was also the night he chose to invite Davina over.
Davina told her parents she'd be spending the night with Liz when in fact she had a bag packed in her locker, ready to take it over to Harry's after school.
When Peter found that out he knew things wouldn't go out as planned.
Maybe Harry wouldn't even go out tonight but still, Peter couldn't let the chance go. He couldn't let Davina be in danger if this Green Goblin made an appearance against Harry's will.
