Davina Anderson had been a mystery to everyone- everyone but him of course.

The time off had become like a blessing to Davina.
She used that time to think of what Harry said, slowly starting to find herself getting over the heartbreak left there by Peter Parker.
She was also excited to get back to school, wanting a distraction rather than faking smiles over Thanksgiving break so her family wouldn't know anything was wrong.
Connor already grew suspicious when he noticed her window locked and the pictures of Peter gone.
He knew they were over but he didn't know what to think. He didn't know whether to blame Peter for whatever happened between them or what.
And as much as she wanted to tell Connor the truth, she knew she wouldn't be able to hold him back like she did with Flash so she instead settled for a simple: I broke up with him.
He believed it and was happy his little sister was no longer in a relationship with a guy who could easily sneak over to her room no matter what time it was.
He could finally stop being the overprotective older brother... for now.
Davina arrived at school with a smile on her face, saying her hellos to her classmates as she made her way into the building.
She thought everything was going well that day but she couldn't be further from the truth.
What she didn't know was that while she was grabbing her books in her locker, Peter walked on the ground of the school with Gwen by his side.
"You sure you want to do this?" she asked carefully, not caring what the kids thought of her but instead worried about what Flash might do when he found out.
But Peter was quick to reassure her, reaching over to hold her hand and giving her a soft smile as they walked into the school building themselves.
The students watched and whispered, wondering when Peter got the balls to ask Gwen Stacy out or even coming into school flaunting his new relationship.
This all happened on Thanksgiving day when Gwen invited Peter and May over for the holiday seeing as they weren't getting an invite from the Andersons anytime soon.
They accepted, Peter thinking nothing of it but somehow by the end of the night Peter was calling Gwen his girlfriend and him her boyfriend.
Which led them to now, Peter wondering if it would be a good idea to announce to the school he was now dating Gwen.
But then he remembered that kiss Davina shared with Harry and even if it stopped and Davina could do whatever she pleased, it still hurt him.
It hurt him how hurt she was and it was all because of him. He hurt the girl he loves.
He realized that the only way to get Davina to get over him was to get her to let him go and for him to open his heart to someone new.
Gwen Stacy was perfect in his eyes. From her brains to the way she looked to the way she cared for him.
