Davina Anderson had been a mystery to everyone- everyone but him of course.

By the end of the school day, Davina wanted nothing more than to get home, as she always did.
But today was different. Today, instead of going home, she wanted to find Peter.
She wanted to properly thank him for today while also making sure everything was okay.
So when she spotted Peter outside with his best friends, she was quick to make her move before her own best friends joined her and ruin her chance.
"Hey, Peter."
Turning away from his friends, Peter smiled at Davina, "Hey."
Feeling nervous with his friends looking at her, Davina cleared her throat, brushing her hair back as she focused on Peter, "I was thinking we could walk home together?"
"Oh! Uh yeah! Of course I just..."
He turned to his friends, obviously not knowing whether he should ditch them or go with the girl who was giving him a chance to be alone with her, even if it was just a walk.
Noticing his hesitation, Davina chuckled, "It's fine if you can't. You must have plans with your friends. I'll just-"
"Yo! Anderson!"
Davina turned around, the others looking to see Harry standing close by with a pair of keys in his hand.
"Fancy a ride home?"
Peter's heart dropped at that, realizing he had lost his chance at being alone with her.
He thought no one had noticed but MJ did, sighing internally once she realized she'd be letting the guy she's had a crush on since they first met go.
"Pete. Just go," she whispered, Peter slowly nodded before looking at Ned who quickly nodded.
Ned wanted his best friend to finally get the girl and MJ just wanted him to be happy and in that moment he was.
"He-hey Davina?"
She turned to face him, sighing as she looked at him.
"It's okay if you can't. I can just ride with Harry. I didn't want to go alone but-"
"I'll walk with you."
A smile immediately appeared on her face, "Really?"
He quickly nodded, her smiling more as she turned back to yell at Harry, "It's fine! I'm walking home with Peter!"
Harry slowly nodded, flashing Peter a quick smile before disappearing.
Davina faced the trio once again with a smile, "Hey. Mary Jane. You live in the building too, you want to come with?"
As much as Mary Jane wanted to go to keep a gap between the pair, she knew she had to resist that urge, so she shook her head.
"Ned and I- we have something to do so no, no it's cool."
