It had been weeks since anyone heard from Davina.

She shut herself off from the world, even her best friends who wanted nothing but to be there for her.

But unluckily for them, the only person who had the key to her loft was Matt and he was gone.

The man she was in love with was gone and she felt broken.

She didn't feel like doing anything really, even failing to pay any bills which definitely wasn't good but she had a rich businessman father on her side to take care of at least that.

She also had a CIA agent of a mom who came into her house, only to make sure she was okay, but never saying a thing, knowing she didn't want to be disturbed.

And so each day that passed, Davina simply spent it in bed whether it was looking through photos of them on her phone or watching videos of them on her laptop.

Each day she found herself crying, just like she did with her parents.

Except this time it may have hurt more.

She thought she could finally move on from being sad, from losing her parents three years ago but suddenly she found herself back in that same spot.

The one man who understood her and helped her change her life, he was gone.

And now she was alone once again.

Well, not necessarily, being her friends were on standby whenever she needed them but when it came to finally being happy and finding love, she felt alone in that part.

It seemed to her like she couldn't be happy- like she shouldn't.

And for that, she sobbed, sobbed to her heart's content thinking about the three loved ones she lost.

She only snapped out of it when she saw Peter come into her room, stopping when he saw her on the floor.

"Are you okay?"

That was a stupid question on Peter's part. Of course, she wasn't okay.

She was miserable.

She was mourning, yet again.

The sadness felt never ending to her.

"I tripped. I uh- I don't think- I don't want to get up."

Peter slowly nodded, setting the bag in his hand to the side before going to lay down in front of her.

"Your mom wanted me to drop off some food for you. She had to go on a mission so-"

"She's not my mom." Davina mumbled dully, Peter frowning as she shrugged, "My mom is dead. Just like my dad... ju-just like Matt."

Davina closed her eyes at that, hating that he was now considered a part of the same category as her parents.
