Demi's pov.

It had been almost 2 months since Rae left. Most of the time I had spent my days drinking and watching tv.
But the past few days I was feeling better.

Marissa was coming to pick me up to go to the mall.

I pulled on my black skinny jeans and a white baggy v neck. I was feeling myself that day so I put on my favorite heels.

I did my makeup and sprayed on my favorite perfume when I heard a knock on the door.

I walle down the stairs and swung open the front door.

"Hey!", I said smiling. "Hey Dems! You seem happy today", she said smiling. "That's because I am happy! Let me grab my stuff."

I put on my black leather jacket and grabbed my purse.

"Ready!", I said walking out. I closed the door behind me and got in Marissa's car.

"I'm glad you're feeling good", she said as she pulled out the driveway. "Me too."

I sat down in the booth as I waited for Marissa to get back with our food.

I took out my phone and scrolled through instagram. I liked a few photos when Marissa came back.

"One double cheese burger with fries", she said as she put down the tray. "And a regular cheesburger with chili fries for me." She down across me and ate a fry.

"I haven't had food like this for so long", I said looking at my burger. I took a big bite. "So good!"
Marissa smiled. "You could've just asked me to get you some once in a while", she said. I shrugged my shoulders as I swallowed. "Nah, wouldn't want to bother you with that."

I took a sip of my coke and ate a few fries.

"Damn girl. You eat like a beast", she said as I took another bite of my burger.

"My apologies. I have been craving this for so long." I giggled.

After a little while we had both finished. I took the last few sips from my drink and got up to throw away the mess I had made.

"So where do you want to go now?", Marissa asked. "Doesn't really matter. I just want a brand new wardrobe", I said smiling.

We walked into TopShop and I immediately spotted some things I wanted. I grabbed a wine red crop top, a couple of ripped jeans and a sweater.

"If you need me, I'll be in the fitting room!", I said to Marissa. "Sure!"

I had just put on the crop top when Marissa knocked on the door. "Dems I found your new favorite shirt", she said. I opened the door. She was holding up a white shirt that said "I'd rather be eating burgers."

I smiled. "I need that! Thank you." She laughed and went back into the store.

When I had tried on everything, I walked out and looked for Marissa.

I couldn't find her so I decided to just pay for my things and waited for her outside.

"That will be 130 dollars please", the lady said. I handed her the money. "Thank you."

She packed my things.

"Have a nice day", she said handing me the bag.

I smiled. "You too."

As I walked out, Marissa was no where to be found. I took out my phone to call her.

"Hello?", she said. "Maris. Where are you?", I said. "Trying on some clothes. Where are you?", she asked.

My mind trailed off when I noticed someone familiar.

As soon as the person turned around my eyes widened. "Rae", I whispered to myself.

"Dems", I heard Marissa say. I hung up as I felt my heart sink. I hadn't seen her for 2 months.

A small smile grew on my face but it soon disappeared when a girl walked up to Rae and kissed her cheek.

I felt a tear escape my eye.
