I went to the hall for my bags.
As soon as I had found them, I walked out and looked for my car.
I threw my bags in the trunk and got in. I drove to the first place that popped in my head.
Rae.
We needed to talk about everything. And if necessary, put an end to everything.
After about 30 minutes, I got to the hotel she was staying at before I had left. I had no idea if she was still staying there, but I needed to try.
I got into the elevator and went to her floor.
The way up, different kinds of thoughts popped in my head. What if she moved on? What if she forgot about me? What if she's not even here anymore? What if we do want to give us a second chance?
I took a deep breath before I knocked.
The door swung open and a blonde haired girl greeted me. I immediately recognised her. It was the girl I spotted Rae with at the mall.
"Can I help you?", she said. "Uh, hi. I'm sorry for bothering you but, is Rae here", I said. "Who's asking?" "Demi", I said frowning.
"Who is it?", I heard a familiar voice say. A smile grew on my face.
"No one", the blonde girl said. "She's not here." She slammed the door, leaving me confused.
When I was about to leave, I received a text. It was from Rae.
"Hey Dems. I heard your voice at the door. I'm sorry about Cassidy. She's uh.. something else. Meet me at the park at 6. I'll explain everything."
After all this time, she still recognised my voice.
"Sure :)", I texted back.
I went back to my car and just stared in front of me for a little while when the the car door swung open.
"Sorry for barging in, but I was hoping you were still here", Rae said. I smiled. "Get in." She did as I said and I started to car.
"I couldn't wait till 6 to be honest. I just didn't know when Cassidy would be gone", she said. "Is she that bad?", I asked. "Like I said, she's something else."
"So how was Italy?", she asked smiling. "It was so amazing. I stayed at the most peaceful and quiet street in the city." She smiled. "I'm glad. Everyone could tell you needed some time to yourself." I nodded.
"I brought you something", I said holding up a key chain. "Awesome!", she said. She grabbed her keys from her pocket and put it on.
"Thanks babe", she said but quickly trailed off. "I'm sorry..", she added. I smiled. "It's okay."
"So what have you been up to?", I asked. "Nothing really. As you can see I basically live at the hotel, with a girl I don't see much in. I don't know where I'm going with this all."
"Then why don't you just leave. Take your own time. See some different places. It'll be nice", I said. "Yeah, maybe."
I parked my car in front of a coffee place we always went to and got out.
"I haven't been here in ages", she said smiling.
"The usual?", I said as we walked in. "Yes please", she said. I smiled at her as she say down. I went to order our coffee's and went to our table.
"So, why did you come see me?", she asked. "I just wanted to. I.. I wanna talk about, well, what we are you know." She nodded. "Your right. I've beem thinking about that since you left for Italy." I smiled.
"So, what are we?", I asked.
"I don't know. But I do know that I still love you", she said grabbing my hands from across the table.
"Me too."
