"Hi, excuse me?", a male voice said. I turned around. "Hi. Can I help you?", I asked. "I've been looking all over for you. I believe this is yours", he said holding up a necklace.

"Oh my god you are a lifesaver!", I said. "Thank you so much!" "You're welcome! Have a safe flight", he said. "You too." He smiled and walked away.

I took out my phone and called Rae. She didn't answer. I called her again.

"Everything okay?", she asked. "Yes! Why didn't you answer?", I asked. "I'm driving babe. There are moments I can't pick up. What's up?" "I found the necklace! Someone has found it", I said. "That's a relief. I'm there in about five minutes. See you in a bit", she said and hung up.

I took a sip of my water and waited for her to come back. I put the necklace around my neck and held on to it for a little while.

Then I saw Rae walking up to me. I smiled and stood up.

She hugged me tight. "I'm so glad you're okay", I said. "Me too. Who found the necklace?", she asked. "Some guy, I don't know." She shrugged her shoulders and took a sip of her water.

"Flight 372 to Rome is boarding now. Please make your way to gate 9."

"Ready?", she asked. I nodded. "You know you don't have to do this", I said. She nodded. "I want to. I'm not living a single day without you ever again." She intertwined our fingers. "Even tho I'm a.. killer?", I whispered carefully. She swallowed and looked at me. She took a deep breath and nodded. "Always."

I held on the her arm as we boarded the plane.

We sat down. I stared out the window, thinking about what was going to happen.

"Where do you wanna go when we get there?", she asked snapping me out off my thoughts. "Doesn't matter, as long as I'm with you", I said laying my head on her shoulder. She rested her hand on my leg and softly rubbed it.

"What about we just travel the country. Maybe just travel Europe", she said. "Sounds great."

"Aren't you scared?", I asked. She shrugged her shoulder. "I bit. But we'll be fine", she said. "You can still walk away from this", I said facing her. She shook her head. "I won't. I'm going to Italy with you." She pecked my lips.

I smiled.

"Do you.. remember what you said earlier? On the phone", I asked. "Of course. Why?" "Well, you said you loved me..", I said softly. She smiled and nodded. "Yeah. And I meant every word", she said.

The way she looked at me made me feel like I was the luckiest person in this world. Her eyes pierced through my soul, but in a good way. The smile she added made my heart beat faster and faster. And then there was her soft touch. She made me feel like I was never going to be without her ever again.

I just pulled her in for a hug and took a deep breath. "I love you so much", I said as a tear escaped my eye. "I love you too Dems", she said rubbing my back.

"This is your captain speaking. My name is Eric, I'll be flying you to Italy today. It'll be a 14 hour flight. So sit back, and relax. We'll be taking off in a few minutes. Have a nice flight."

"Ready?", she asked. I nodded. We fastened our seatbelts.

I held on to Rae, hoping we would make it to Italy without any obstacles.

She looked at me and just smiled. That's her way to tell me everything's alright. And I believed her. I sighed and sat back.

"Go listen to some music or something. It'll help you relax", she said. I nodded and reached for my headphones.
