Two months have past. Demi had been doing better, and they didn't send her to isolation. I was visiting her again today.

I grabbed my purse and said bye to my new puppy Bailey.

I got in my car let out a deep sigh, preparing myself to see Demi again. Everytime I saw her, I got so nervous. It was like I was falling for her all over again. She had been so sweet to me. She really was trying, and I think it was working.

I pulled out the driveway and hit the road.

On the way, a few of my favourite songs came up. It was a bit relaxing, until I arrived.

I got out of my car and walked inside, towards the desk.

"Hey Rae", the guy said. "Hey!", I said. "She's not waiting yet. But you can go in and wait for her there." I nodded and walked in.

I sat down and eagerly waited for her to get here.

As time passed by, and people started leaving, Demi was still nowhere to be seen.

I got up and walked up to one of the guards.

"Have you heard anything of Demi?", I asked. "Nope. Maybe she overslept. Better luck next time", he said. I shook my head and walked back to my seat. I grabbed my coat and was ready to leave, when I heard someone yell my name.

"Rae! Rae wait!" I turned around and saw Demi running. I giggled to myself and dropped my stuff where I had left them before. I smiled.

"I'm sorry I'm late! I lost track of time", she said as she hugged me. "It's okay", I said as the butterflies in my stomach went crazy. She sat down with a big smile on her face.

"Is everything okay?", I asked. She nodded. "Couldn't be better." I smiled. "That's great."

"So how have you been? You know, since last week", I asked. "Good. I had few depressing moments but I stayed strong. I just kept looking forward to today. I missed you", she said. I felt myself blushing and smiled. "Me too", I said. She smiled back.

"How are the scars? Are they healing well?", I asked. I gently grabbed her wrist and lifted up her sleeve. I felt her looking at me while I was looking at her scars. "They look great", I said gently moving my thumb over them.

I looked up, finding her still looking at me with no expression on her face.

"What's wrong?", I asked.

"Are you proud of me?", she whispered. "Of course I am", I said.

"Can you tell me that?"
I grabbed her hands.

"I'm so incredibly proud of you, Dems", I said. She smiled. "Thank you." I gently shook my head. "No. Thank YOU", I said smiling.

She looked at me confused.

"For what?" "For not giving up on yourself. For giving me a chance to help you. I really am proud of you, Demi", I said.

"Thank you for not giving up on me either." I smiled. "I'd never give up on you", I said.

Then there was a loud noise. Which meant it was time to say goodbye.

"Already?", Demi said. "It's your own fault", I said laughing. "I know. I'll be extra early next week, I promise." "What about Monday?", I asked. Her eyes widened. "Really?" I nodded. "If you'd like that." "Of course!"

I smiled and pulled her in for a hug.

"Ladies. It's time", a guard said walking up to us. I nodded. "See you on Monday then", I said.

And without thinking, I pecked her lips.

"Sorry", I said. She smiled and shook her head. Her hand looked for mine. "Don't be", she said. "I'll see you on monday." I nodded.

She walked away as her hand slowly slipped away.
