"I have to pee. I'll be right back", Rae said when we were waiting for our bags. I nodded and she walked away.

I noticed one of our bags and reached for it. I then noticed a couple security guards in the corner of my eye. I started panicking, not knowing what to do.

My heart was racing, my palms were getting sweaty. I was about to walk away when they talked to someone else. I sighed in relieve.

I noticed our other bags and grabbed them. "Rae, where the hell are you?", I said to myself.

I sat down, waiting for her to come back.

After 10 minutes, she still hadn't come back. I took out my phone and called her. No answer.

"Hey", I heard behind me. I turned around and saw Rae standing there, smiling. "Where the hell have you been?", I asked. Her smile faded when she saw the look in my eyes. "There was a line at the restrooms. I'm sorry. Are you okay?", she asked. "You didn't answer your phone", I said. "You habe my phone." I sighed. "Right." "Let's go", I said.

We went to the exit and looked for a taxi.

"Where to?", the driver said. She looked at me. "Lazio", I said smiling. He nodded.

"What's Lazio?", Rae asked. "It's where I've spent my time here. You'll love it", I said. She smiled and nodded. I layed my head on her shoulder and sighed.

"Are you okay?", she asked. I nodded. "Just relieved." "Me too", she said. She wrapped her arm around me.

The ride wasn't that long. It took about 20 minutes before we got there.

Rae payed the driver and we got out.

We got our bags from the trunk. "Thank you!", Rae said to the driver. He raised his thumb and drove away.

"So where are we staying?", she asked. "There's a small hotel at the end of the street. But I have to do something first. Could you check us in?", I said. She looked at me confused. "Sure."

She pecked my lips and walked away.

I sighed and walked into the small building.

I knocked on the door, waiting for her.

The door swung open. "Demi?", she said in disbelieve. She immediately hugged me. So I hugged her back. "What are you doing here?", she asked. "I uh, I think we need to talk", I said. She nodded and let me in.

"What's wrong?", she asked as we sat down. "I didn't really came here for you", I admitted. "Oh", she said disappointed. "Then why are you here?" "Something happened. I can't tell you more about it, but I need you to understand that I can't go back to America. At least not for a while. And I wanted to tell you I'll be staying in town for a while. Just so you won't suddenly spot me on the streets", I said.

She nodded. "Was it bad?", she asked. I nodded. "Pretty bad, yeah." "Thanks for telling me."

"So, are you here with.. with Rae?", she asked. I nodded. "Yeah", I said smiling. "She's been really supportive. And we're doing better." She nodded. "I'm happy for you." I smiled. "Thank you."

I stood up. "I should go. Rae is waiting at the hotel", I said. "Yeah, of course." She opened the front door for me.

"Demi", she said stopping me. I turned around. She crashed her lips on mine, not planning to pull away anytime soon. For a second, I kissed her back. Her hand moved from my neck, down my body. But I quickly pulled away.

I shook my head. "I'm with Rae", I said. "I know. I'm sorry", she said.

"I'll see you around", I said. She nodded. "Bye."

I walked out and went to the hotel, finding Rae waiting for me in the lobby.

"Hey. You good?", she asked. I smiled and nodded. "I'm good." I pecked her lips.

She smiled and intertwined our fingers as we went up to our room.
