Chapter 42: The Final Chapter

I brushed my fingers through her hair as she just looked at me. She sighed.

"Are you okay?", I asked. She nodded. "Yeah. I'm great actually. I just really missed you, and this", she said. I smiled and leaned in to kiss her. "Me too."

"So how was your first night in your own bed?", I asked. "Wonderful. Especially with you in it", she said and winked. I smiled. "No but really. It's so much better. We had this thin mattresses with one of those itchy blankets. The pillows were great tho. I'm not complaining about them." I laughed.

"Well I hope you'll be able to enjoy this mattress for the rest of your life. And by that I mean, stay out of trouble", I said and winked.

She giggled.

"I'm gonna go and take a shower. Care to join me?", she asked getting out of bed. "You bet!" I jumped out and followed her into the bathroom.

I was about to see her naked for the first time in like a year.

She slowly stripped down when I felt a warm glow coming off my cheeks.
