- Three Days Later -

Zuri's P.O.V

Holding onto my baby girl as her small body snuggled up against my chest while sleeping I smiled from ear to ear.

For the first time in seven months I smiled feeling a little complete.

I'd been waiting on her to come for so long an' now she was finally here. Even though Avery wasn't able to experience the birth of his first child I made sure to have the whole process recorded for Samantha knowing she'd be unable to help me through it  all.

Today was day three since the Cesarean an' from the moment I'd met my little baby girl, I fell in love. She weighed in at 4 pounds 3 ounces with the most beautiful set of hair, she'd gotten from her father.

I wanted to go on up to Samantha's room the moment I had her but was in so much pain to even breathe, but now I was feeling much better an' able to finally make it up on my feet.

I hadn't spoken or seen Avery as yet but I knew he was in here somewhere completely pissed off avoiding me.

I knew I hurt him but he also hurt me - When I needed him the most he left me, not answering any of my phone calls.

"How are my two favorite girls." I listened as Bryson's smooth voice spoke as he made it into my room with a vase full of red roses along with a little teddy bear holding onto a card. "This is for you."

I smiled while taking a look at him an' the gifts he'd bought me.

"Thank you." I continued smiling. "But I think that's enough with the roses - The place is filled with more than a dozen class filled with roses you've bought in the last three days."

"I can't help it." He looked over Aasiyah while admiring her looks. "She's so beautiful."

I sighed to myself not understanding why she came out looking like Avery's twin but a bit more lighter.

"She is." I admitted. "I'm so happy I get to take her home today."

"They told you that?"

"Yeahh." I assured him. "Now you can finally pack up an' move back into your own home."

He chuckled lightly.

"I don't think I wanna do that just yet."

I looked over at him a bit confused.

"Bryson I'll be fine." I assured him. "Besides, I've learned a lot with being in here for the past three days with her."

"You sure?"

"Yeahh." I slowly sat up while holding onto her.

"Where you going?" He quickly stood up in front of me causing me to look up at him.

"I have someone that wants to meet her." I told him. "Her grandmother is here an' wants to see her." I spoke truthfully.

"Didn't you tell me yo' Mama di--"

"It's not my Mama." I assured him. "It's her father's Mama - She really wants to see her."

"Is he here?" Complete anger took over his facial expression.

"No." I quickly replied. "Now can I go?"

I watched as he moved aside quickly while focusing on us both.

"I'm coming with you." He demanded. "I don't care what that nigga think."

Rolling my eyes as B continued being over protective with me as usual I sighed lightly knowing how he usually gets.
