- One Week Later -

Avery's P.O.V

After a whole week of thinking an' getting Zuri an' the baby settled in, it was now time for me to settle shit between Bianca's little ass, then Krystal.

Making my way towards Gramma's house I quickly made it on inside knowing only Bianca would be home at this time of the day.

"Hey Ave." her smile grew as she brought me into a warm hug.

"Wassup." I made it on into the living room followed by her.

"I'm good." She simply replied. "Where Zuri lame ass a--"

"Yo, cut that shit out B." I mugged her then shook my head a bit disappointed. "You didn't learn yo' lesson from the last time I seen you?"

"I just don't like her." She began. "Ave, you an' both know she's using you."

"She not." I spoke up louder that I expected. "Now, if you disrespect my girl one more time - The mother of my fucking child, I'm gone beat yo' ass worse that I did before."

See, both Brittany an' Bianca grew up not knowing their Mama an' pops, so Gramma took them in. But those two were nothing alike.

Brittany was always the sweet one, while Bianca was known as the devil child.

She was one badass kid, so that's when I decided it was time to step up. That's when I decided on playing a father role in both their lives.

"So how the fuck do you know Krystal." I was tired of being nice at this point. "An' if you lie to me, that gone only make shit worse."

I listened as she sighed lightly while playing with her fingers.

"I just met her." She admitted. "At the party."

Confusion filled my face.

"What she told you?" I questioned.

"Everything." She quickly spoke up. "How Zuri's only with you for the money, how she trapped you with that kid - She even told me about Zuri sleeping around with men just to make a couple extra dollars."

"An' you dumb enough to believe that shit." I chuckled inside. "Come on man - I'm a grown ass man B, don't you think I know when a bitch playing me or not."

"Camille."

Her calling that name brought silence.

"Camille." I shook my head in disappointment as I though of the first girl that was to ever break my heart.

"Look, I'm sorry." She quickly apologized. "I just don't wanna see you hurt .. like the last time."

I sighed lightly while gently rubbing my hand down my face.

"Is that what this shit all about?" I focused on her becoming a bit more understanding. "That'll never happen again B - I know one thing, an' that's that Zuri not like that. Everything that bitc--" I paused rethinking my word. "Everything that woman told you was a damn lie."

"I'm sorry." She apologized a second time with her head held low.

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." I assured her. "It's honestly Zuri."

Slowly getting up from my seat I decided on just ending our discussion.

"You leaving?" She questioned as a small frown formed against her face.

"Yeahh." I simply spoke while placing a soft kiss against her forehead. "I'mma be back."

I quickly made my way on out ready to kill anyone that crossed me the wrong way.
