Chapter Twelve

(Flashback)

"Anna please understand, it's for the best."

"Harry nothing you do is ever for the best so I don't know why us breaking up is any different."

"Because we've lost the touch, we never talk to each other and when we do you shout in my face."

"I do not, Harry was we have isn't going to go away because you say so."

"Well look how about you stay here and I move out."

"Because it doesn't work like that Harry, I don't want to loose you."

"You not going to loose me Anna, babe it's been 6 years and we aren't going anywhere."

"So your going to throw 6 years of us?"

"Anna we've been best friends since we started high school and we've been dating since we left but I'm 20 now and I need to figure out what I want in life."

"I thought we had a plan to start a family once you finish this job."

"I'd love to start a family but we haven't been us in a while and I need something else, but I promise we can still be friends."

"Harry please don't go."

"I'm sorry Anna."I said as I picked up my bag and opened the front door. I gave Anna one last glance before I walked out.

(Flashback Over)

(Harry's P.O.V)

I woke up with Aly in my arms. It was 7:49am and my head was pounding. I kissed her forehead and slid out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I went through the draws and pulled out some paramax to make the pain go away. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. The flat was quiet and a cold air lingered around. I turned the tv on to catch what the weather was going to be like today and it wasn't looking like a nice day. 6 degrees and rain was not the best weather so I turned on the heater so it would warm up by the time Aly woke up. As I go to walk back to bed there is a knock on the door. Looking at the time it was 8 and we weren't expecting Liam until later. I look through the window and see a family white car parked across the road.

"Anna?" I ask as I open the door.

"I thought you'd be more excited about seeing me." Anna answered.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit a friend." Anna smiled.

"Early on a Saturday morning?"

"It's not Saturday nor is it early."

"What ever, look it's a bad time."

"Why?"

"Because, I hit a rough patch in my relationship and I'm trying to work it out."

"Oh yea, what's her name?"

"You need to leave."

"Since when are you demanding, is there something I'm missing?" Anna asked.

"Actually your missing a lot." We were interrupted by a voice and when I looked past Anna there was Liam.

"Like what?" Anna asked.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Liam.

"Well I brought breakfast but now that Anna's here maybe we should fill her in." Liam said. Anna gave him a hug and they both looked at me.

"Well Aly is asleep and you both need to leave."

"Why don't you make us and maybe then Anna can see the new you." Liam said sarcastically.

"Liam leave, now!" I said pointing to the road. He let out a laugh and they both left without looking back. I went back inside and as I looked up Aly was walking out of the bedroom. Aly was wearing one of my shirts just like she used to and it made me smile.

"Morning sleeping beauty." I said as I walked towards her.

"Morning." Aly said with her tired voice. I have her a hug and a kiss on her forehead. "Do you want some eggs for breakfast."

"I'd love some eggs babe." I said as I watched Aly walk into the kitchen. I could sense she was still afraid and apart of me wanted her to be but that part of me made me afraid of the things I could do. it still surprises me that she's hear after three days of me stabbing her. Aly didn't like the idea of crutches so she limped around everywhere but she had said with the painkillers she has she can hardly feel the pain when she walks.

(Alys P.O.V)

I think making eggs was a easy way to make Harry think I didn't hear him and Liam and someone else at the front. I had to take an extra pain killer this morning because Harry had knocked it last night. I feel like it's not healing but today I would go and get the dressing changed and see what the doctor says about it.

"Harry." I called out. He was sitting on the couch on his phone, nothing has changed there.

"What is it?" Harry asked as he got of the couch.

"Are you able to take me to the hospital."

"Why what for?"

"It's ok, I need to get my dressing changed."

"Oh yea I'm sure I can do that, I just have Trevor coming over with some licence plates and then I'll take you."

"Thanks, your eggs are almost done."

"Smells great, haven't had any for a few days." Harry said before taking a seat at the table.

(Liam's P.O.V)

Since leaving Harry's I invited Anna back to mine and ever since we've been some catching up.

"What have you been doing with yourself?" Anna asked.

"Oh yea know, nothing has really changed since we've last spoken."

"It's been 8 months, something has to have changed."

"Other than Harry and Aly nothing really."

"Oh so that's her name, does he treat her the way he treated me?"

"You or nothing compared to her, did you notice Harry's face?"

"You did that?"

"Yup, Harry stabbed her because she tried to run away and I bashed his face in cause he went to far."

"I didn't take him to be like that, but why is she still there?"

"He has this control over her, if he says jump well she'll jump."

"Shit that's messed up."

"No shit, so why are you back in town?" I asked Anna, she was never the one to return unless there was some unfinished business. Before they moved to the city Harry and Anna went to school here and Anna swore she'd never come back.
