"Wake up fuck ya." Harry yelled as he walked around the room. I wasn't quite asleep but enough to hear the distress in his voice.
"What is it?" I quietly asked.
"I have to go out of town but Liam is staying here so there won't be any packing your things and leaving," Harry starting explaining. I didn't know exactly why he was leaving, but he wouldn't tell me so I just nodded. "I need you to pack me a bag and I'm going to need that money you have stored away."
"Harry I, I" I couldn't get the words outs. I chocked on them and Harry must if known I was going to refuse so he grabbed me by the hair and pulled me up to my feet.
"You do as I say, no questions asked." Harry said before tossing me on the floor. When he walked out I got up and started packing his bag like he asked.
I was kind of glad Harry wasn't going to be here, but because I didn't know what kind of person Liam was I start to get nervous about the week ahead. From what I know Liam was Harry's mate, I didn't know if he had a temper like Harry but considering their friends it makes me wonder.
Once I pack Harry bag I take it out and place it near the front door. Liam was sitting on the couch and Harry was on the phone and it sounded serious.
"Looking forward to the week ahead Aly?" Liam asked. I looked over at Harry then back and Liam an shrugged. I didn't want Harry to get the wrong ideas like the last time. Harry had almost killed his brother just because he talked to me and I haven't seen him since. I have Liam a small smile before going to the laundry. Their was a stack full of clothes, a good weeks worth. I ran mine and Harry's clothes through before doing the towels because a few of the towel had blood from when I used them to clean up my face from when Harry thrown me causing me to hit the wall and spilt my lips. Harry didn't care, he just made me clean the mess.
"I'm going now, don't try anything stupid." Harry said walking up behind me. I turned to face him, I expected a hug and kiss but that was asking to much, instead he pushed past grabbed his bag and walked out the door, leaving me with Liam. I walked to the window and watched Harry drive away in his car and when he was out of sight I let out a sigh and went to the kitchen to make something to eat.
"You know you don't deserve the treatment Harry gives you," Liam say as he enters the kitchen. It startles me, causing me to drop the block of cheese. "Look you've bruised the cheese," I flinch as Liam walks closer, but he just laughs. "Aly, there is no need to be afraid of me."
"Why, why are you being so nice to me?"
"Because your a nice person, I don't agree with what Harry does to you, your such a sweet girl and he his an idiot for what he is doing" Liam say as he moves closer. A tear streams down my face and as I go to wipe it away Liam is already there, using his sleeve.
"If you think it's wrong why don't you stop him or at least say it's wrong?" I say moving away from him.
"I don't know, I know I should but it's not that easy."
"It is though, it never used to be like this."
"I know, but you don't understand what's happened with Harry."
"I don't understand because he never explained it."
"I wish I could tell you Aly but that's Harry's job."
"Whatever, look I'm going to shower and I'll clean this when I'm done just, just keep your distance." I said heading towards the bedroom. I shut the door behind me and later out clothes to wear for the day, which was just a pair of black ripped jeans and a polo shirt. I trailed of into the bathroom, I turned the shower on and undressed. Looking at my reflection I had a nice shiner on my right eye and the cut on my lip looked like it was slowly healing. I climbed into the shower and let the hot water run along my back. If you'd look at my body I had bruises left, right and centre.
"Nice body, to bad for those bruises though." I heard a voice, my eyes flung open and it was Liam.
"Get out!" I yelled.
"No can do, need to pee," Liam said as he undid his zip and pulled up the seat. I tried to cover my privates but it was to late. "You know you don't need to hide, you have a fit body."
"Harry would kill you if he knew what just happened." I said turning the water off and grabbing the towel. Liam started washing his hands.
"He doesn't need to know." Liam winked. I scoffed and walked past him to the bedroom and locked the door. I quickly got dressed and sat in front of the mirror and brushed my hair.
"Come out, I'm bored and I need to talk to someone." Liam said knocking on the door.
"Give me a minute." I said back. Having Liam around gave me a voice and I like it, but I knew its end in a weeks time. I put my hair in a messy bun and applied some lip bam on my lips so they weren't so cracked.
"Finally." Liam said as I opened the door. He was leaning against the door frame and shot me a smile as I walked out.
"I could have cleaned this up myself." I said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Look Harry might treat you like a slave but I know how to treat women." Liam said. I turned to face him and he ran a hand through his hair.
"Thanks but I can take care of myself."
"Yea I can tell, does taking care of yourself include getting slapped around by Harry?"
"You don't understand."
"I understand completely, but Aly for the next week I want you to put your fee up, relax a little."
"You know I'd ask you to leave but you can't, so instead just let me do what I do best."
"Let me prove to you I'm not as bad as I come across." Liam said. He closed the gap between us, he made me nervous, more nervous then Harry ever did. I shook my head refusing his offer.
"C'mon love, why don't you go and sit on the couch, relax a little while cook you something to eat."
Liam was the total opposite of what I thought, he was Harry before he suddenly change his behaviour. I didn't know what to do when Liam offered to take the role for the week. Liam walked me to the couch and I watched him role up a smoke before he took off his shirt and walked to the kitchen.
"Help yourself, you know if you have a cone it'll help you relax." Liam shouted from the kitchen. It was tempting but I couldn't, it wasn't for me. I sat back on the couch and twiddle my thumbs until Liam came back with chicken and salad rolls.
"Thanks for this Liam."
"Anytime babe, look when is the last time you watched tv?"
"It's been a while."
"Well then your missing out."
Liam turned on the tv and their was an episode of 'Friends' playing. It had been a while since I had watched friends, it used to be one of my all time fave shows. Liam shuffled over closer and slouched back in the couch with one arm rested on the top of the couch behind me.
"Since your going to be here, maybe we should get to know each other properly." I suggested, and soon the tv was on mute and Liam was telling me about himself and how he ha met Harry and I did the same.
