Today was the day I was going to ask my best friend to our senior year prom. I had my sign and her favorite flowers aka roses ready. All I had to ask her at the right time. She and I play soccer together and I had our teammates not say anything but they knew I liked her and did too. That part was hard but I'm glad we both like each other and our teammates were thrilled about today. I handed my other good friends, Camila to hold the flowers, Dinah and Normani to hold the sign and my other teammates knew the cue to come out to do a flash mob for her. All of this for her.
We were all stretching out and practicing outside. Our coach let me play music while we're working hard. I looked at my Ally Hernandez as she was our goalie, she may be short but she can cover like no one which made us worry in our freshman year but she had a knick how to kick it out and when she jumps, it's the cutest thing but she always tries her best.
I smiled at her and she winked at me, as she was focusing but her wink made me blush and I was getting nervous but I knew I had to this. I breathe in and out and then switch the song to her favorite singer, JT. She smiled big as she was singing along. It was so cute.
I looked at everyone and I started singing. Our teammates started forming a line, and starting dancing. Ally was so confused and she stared at what was gong on. I walked towards her and she gave me a confused look but it was adorable. I kept dancing and singing and then had Camila handed me the roses to her and she smiled big.
"So Allyson for just in the heart of how much I planned this, would you say yes to be my leading lady to our senior prom?"
She was crying, happy tears and shook her head. She hugged me and gave me a quick kiss and out teammates cheered even our coach.

I got dressed up and headed my way to Ally's house with a horse and a carriage with bigger flowers in my hand.
Ally looked so beautiful that I think I blanked out when her parents told us to take pictures.
"Smile! "
I did as I was told and she was so happy knowing the horse and carriage was at her street.
"All for you." She gave a side hug and asked if she could get a picture with the horse and I laughed but took not just one more enough for her.
"Lauren, baby thank you for this. You really didn't have to."
"Baby girl, I want to do all of this for you." I handed her the reigns and we rode down to the school.
Everyone was surprised when we pulled in. I went down first and help my princess down and we walked in the school. I smiled as I walked with Ally. She looked so beautiful. I feel so lucky she was my date.
As the songs played and we danced pretty much all of them but we were hungry but the food option wasn't so tasty.
"Hey babe, do you want to go to Waffle House with me?" I asked her. She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Yes please."
I held her hand as we walked back out to the horse carriage and parked to the nearest Waffle House.
She and I took a seat in a booth and she put her shoes next to her and smiled at me.
"Thank you for all of this. It's been a magical night."
I smiled at her and I grabbed her hands.
We ordered, ate and paid separately since we couldn't make up our mind who was going to pay. I parked the horse at her house and helped her get down and held her hand walking towards her house. Before she went in, I kissed her. She blushed , looked away and then kissed me.
"Did we just do that?" She said laughing.
"Yes and I hope we can do that more often. Ally will you please be my girlfriend?" I asked your parents for permission last week while you were at soccer practice.
"Awww oh my gosh, Lauren you're so damn cute, yes I would love to be your girlfriend."
We kissed one more time and then she went in and I went back to the stables to return the horse.
