Ally
We had interviews after one to another one. Promoting our single, Down it was so much fun. Spending time with my girls has been a blessing. We talked about how much we were having fun in Canada and how this past week has been so much fun from my birthday in Vegas. I wanted to tell them all about how Lauren surprised me and we were finally together. The way she looks at me while I talk is something I admire her for. She really pays attention to what I say, I like, don't like, my favorite kinds of movies, food, places, and its just really nice to know someone took time to learn and actually listens to me.
We were almost finish with our last ones for the day and it was close past 5ish and I was getting hungry. We had snacks but I was craving that hamburger. The interviewer, Alex, was asking Lauren about Tyga and I knew someone would ask but I was hoping no. Her eyes looked at me and I smiled at her. She looked back at Alex, then the girls and then back at me.
"Actually, um Tyga and I are just friends, and I'm with someone who really makes me happy. She's really beautiful and who has been by my side for almost now 5 years"
"Ooh, she seems special!"
"She really is." she said looking at me. The girls looked at Lauren and me. Dinah gave me a "we gotta talk" look. I nodded and listened to Alex.
We thanked Alex and the crew man and we headed back to our van.
"Alren is real!" Dinah said as soon they closed the door and our driver started headed to the hotel. We were done for the day and I was ready for some room service or anything had burgers.
Lauren looked at me and I nodded.
"Yeah." she said. She took my hand and kissed it.
'Sorry we didn't tell you guys, it's just been our secret for 3 months, 17 days, 3 hours and uh. 16 seconds." I told them and looking at Lauren.
She kissed me and I smiled and buried my face in her chest.
"Awwwww" Normani said smiling at us.
"Yeah we cute." Lauren told me and then we started laughing as a group.
We were dropped off at the hotel and Lauren let Dinah and Normani, I was about fo next, but Lauren stopped me.
"You said you wanted that burger, so I asked if Dave can take us to get a burger. Just you and me."
"Awh! Date night?"
"Yes baby."
She kissed me and said goodbye to Dinah and Normani. They smiled and waved.
We went into a little cute diner and sat in the back in a booth. We talked about what was going on our lives outside our band obligation and work. When we go on dates, we leave our work stuff out of it and focus on our relationship, of how we can approve, what we would like to do, and our families. We listen each other and don't interrupt, which was hard at the beginning, but we're both learning and we just want us to be equal part and included.
"Babe, I love you. I really do."
"Aw, Allyson, I love you too.
I giggled and she wanted to pay and I let her because she listens and that was something I really liked about her.
She opened the door for me and we walked around holding hands.
