I was on my way to Miami for my radio tour press day. I loved performing and meeting the fans has made it all worth it. Seeing them tell me how I impacted or inspired and especially when they sing along to my songs. I've been in contact with the girls since we stopped being in the group. I was excited to see Lauren as she was here with her own radio tour as well. It was exciting feeling I would get to see my best friend. We've been talking more and more lately, I never stopped loving her in a way we've been secretly together for almost 6 months now. It's refreshing and new and I can't help but making me smile all day long.
The only people we told was the other girls, and our families. The world not yet, its not that we were ashamed, it was a secret because we didn't know how to tell them. I was happy with her. I was in love. This girl was really special and made me feel like the only girl in the world to her. I was telling her I was about to walk in and I hope to meet up for a lunch date afterwards. She said of course and she couldn't wait to see me again. It's been 2 months since we actually spend time in person. We were on the phone weather it was 5 minutes or 5 hours but we never stopped talking to each other.
After getting through the crowd, which I was so happy how many people showed up. It's so nice to meet new people in every city. I heard them say hi, and wanting to hug me. I took a seat on a stool as everyone was in a big circle. I sang two singles, and then everyone was in single file. I loved taking time and talking to my fans. They had stories or gifts to tell and give me. It so heartwarming seeing how big impact I really make. It always amazes me and how blessed am I really am. I get to inspire people. Like really? I couldn't wait to tell Lauren my day was. The fans got a little Q & A session a little at the end.
One of the fans asked if I kept in touch with the girls. and I told them yeah, actually, I talked to Normani the other day or before just saying hi and how proud I was with her new single and with Dinah we talk last week. Lauren and I were actually gonna get together while I was in her town. Someone asked me to FaceTime so I texted her real quick just making sure she wasn't busy at the moment. She was in the studio with her own radio tour, which her fans were asking the same.
I called her and she showed me her crowd as my crowd was excited! It was so funny seeing how big our harmonizers go for all of us still even when weren't in a group again. We sorta sang a little bit of "Sauced Up" since we both wrote that song together. It was really sweet they were singing along with us. We all laughed and clapped and said our little goodbyes for now. After all the fun in the studio, I took some selfies by the door and then got in the car.

I saw Lauren by the window. She looked so beautiful in her outfit. Her hat suited her. She saw me and I got all the butterflies in my tummy as I do when I was with her. I ran up to give her a big hug.
"Aw baby girl. I missed you!!"
"Babeeee I miss you more!" I kissed her and then hugged even more. I felt safe in her arms.
We sat back down and she looked at me.
"You are beautiful. You look beautiful babe."
"Aw thank you babe. You look gorgeous."
"Thank you." We held hands on the table. I was craving her touch so much.
'I miss this"
"Me too, all I want to do is be by your side." She smiled at me and played with my fingers.
The waiter came by took our orders and we talked about our schedule coming up. We were almost done with our little tour which meant to keep working on our solos in the studio. It's so nice for us just catch up and know what's going on. I like that we could tell each other about these things and not get upset if we are far away or won't able to see each other. I feel like we both know whats the risk and know its hard when we're not together but we keep in touch with every phone call or text it matters.
After an hour or so into it, she invited me to her hotel, which I said yes, since it felt forever being around her and I didn't have to leave till tomorrow anyways. I let Will know I was going to stay with her and he said he would have a car in the morning for the bus. I followed her to her car, holding her hand as we went through the paparazzi. She put her arm around me as I was walking towards the car. She let me get in first and we drove to the hotel.
"Babe, i love you. Thank you for taking a chance on me."
"Aw babygirl, I would in heartbeat a million times."
"You're cute."
"Thanks, you are beautiful."
I gave her a kiss on the cheek and I held her hand. It wasn't a long ride, we just had to go in the back because of the fans and the paparazzi. We got in the back entrance and I followed her to her room.
She immediately went to the bed, and started lay her head like she was going to sleep..
"Tired baby? Take a nap with me?
"Yeah actually I am. Okay. Cuddles?
"Of course. "
