Who Are You?

Toni-
After we leave the hotel, which did NOT have my inhaler, we stop by the grocery store then we get to the house. The kids quickly get out and grab their bags and Skai leaving me in the car with Kenny. I start to get out before he reaches out and grabs my hand.

I sigh inwardly knowing I can't avoid talking to him well I can but it will make things even more awkward so I suck it up and turn towards him. "Um did you get your inhaler?" He asks making me almost sight with relief. "No they said they couldn't find it" I say disappointed. "I can get you a new one tomorrow" he says and my head quickly snaps towards his. "No! I can't have you do that you already did too much" I say making him frown.

"Toni you are my employee" he says causing me to drop my head before he lefts it back up with his fingers "and friend, I want to be able to help you when you need it" he finishes. A blush instantly colors my cheeks. "Thank you" I say shyly as we stare into each other eyes and before I realize it we are slowly leaning towards each other.

Yara-
Me and China watch in awe as we watch our Uncle Kenny and Toni lean towards each other about to kiss. "Our boy is growing up" China says sadly. "I know look at them, so perf-what the hell?!" I say as we watch, now in horror, as Toni suddenly puts her hand on his chest and says something before jumping out of the car.

Me and China quickly move away from the window right before she comes inside walking past us and upstairs. A few seconds later my Uncle comes in with his head hung low as he also walks past us. I look at China and she looks at me with the same expression. What the hell just happened?

Kenny-
I was so close, too close to letting all my worries about getting into a relationship with her and just kissing her senseless before she put up her hands, stopping me at the last second. "We can't do this Kenny, I'm your employee and friend I don't want to mess this up" she said right before leaving out of the car and hurrying inside.

I sigh as I lay on my bed with a million thoughts racing through my mind. My room door bursts open and I peek up to see Miles standing there excitedly with a bubbly Skai in his arms. "Uncle Kenny when are we going to the beach?" He asks placing Skai on my bed and she instantly makes a beeline for the edge before I reach out a hand and grab her chunky leg pulling her back up making her laugh. "We are leaving in around 1 so in about an hour" I say as I play around with the giggly baby.

"Okay!" He says before running out leaving me with Skai and she looks up at me with her big eyes before reaching up to grab my hair. "Your a quick one aren't you?" I ask tickling her stomach and she let's out another cute laugh causing her little face to scrunch up reminding me of Toni's adorable laugh.

I pick her up before walking to Toni's room. I knock and Skai reaches out with her little fist and copies my movement making me chuckle. "Come in" I hear Toni say and I enter to see her reading in bed. She looks up as I enter and we lock eyes before hers quickly shifts onto Skai who is reaching out for her, I gently sit Skai on the bed beside her before looking down at the book she is reading only to see words. Well of course it's words, but not words like it's telling a story. "Are you reading a dictionary?" I ask confusedly and she looks up from playing with Skai towards me with a blush couting her cheeks "um...yeah, just you know, trying to keep up with these kids they are really smart so..." She trails off playing with the edges of the book.

I look at her suspiciously for a while before turning my head to look around the room and my eyes quickly catches onto a photo of a family sitting on her dresser. I walk towards the photo and pick it up looking at it more closely and realize that the long curly hair is a young Toni. But who is the other people?  I turn towards Toni who is busy playing with Skai and I see the same big smile on her face as I see in the picture. I also notice the features her and the other girls on the photo share.
