Is She?

Toni-
I feel the air escape my body as I look over the man I haven't seen in nearly three months. I look from his extra clean shoes to his sharp outfit and up to his freshly shaved head before trailing my eyes up to his usually warm brown eyes that are blazing with fire.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He asks making me glare at him "you don't have to worry about that Mr. Edmonds, I'm leaving right now" I say before turning back to the nice lady who is looking at me in confusion. "Leave? What about your job?" She asks looking between me and Ken. "Don't worry I don't need the money that bad" I say and start walking out before walking away but Ken's voice stops me dead in my tracks.

"I guess you are going to find other means to get the money huh?" He scoffs out and I feel my blood grow hot with a fury I never felt before. I stand there trembling but instead of exploding I walk out of the door and towards the parking lot with the sound of hurried footsteps coming after me causing me to hurry up.

"Toni? Toni?!" Ken yells as I reach my car and I quickly look through my purse searching for my keys "fuck where are those damn keys?" I ask as he comes closer. "Toni wait!" He says and I turn quickly and lift up my hands "Ken STOP!" I yell out and suddenly it's like he freezes right in spot.

I look at him weirdly thinking he is playing "Ken stop being an asshole okay" I say walking closer to him and pushing him but he don't budge. "Ken? Kenny?!" I yell at him moving away from him. I look around to see everything is normal except him. "Ken? Stop this your scaring me... MOVE DAMMIT!" I yell in anger and suddenly he starts moving like nothing happened. "Toni please don't leave I'm sorry and I know it was childish but I was so suprised to see you" he explains and I stare at him in fear backing up.

"H-how?" I try to spit out looking at him and he looks at me weirdly "Toni what's wrong? You look like you seen a ghost" he says coming closer to me. "S-stop" I breath out and I watch right before my eyes as he freezes right in place again.

"Oh my God" I say looking at the seemingly frozen man.

Agent Saldana-
"Where did she go?" I ask Beharie as we stand in the spiffy building looking around. "I don't even know, I saw the man come up to her and they talked and she left, I think she went out into the parking lot" She says and we both leave out towards the parking lot to keep eyes on our target.

I draw my gun as we hear some arguing and we walk behind a car to hide ourselves and watch as the target, Toni, and this man argues. "Saldana I think that's the man she used to work for" Beharie whispers in my ear. "I think she did more then work for him" I whisper back to her.

Suddenly the lady screams stop and we watch as the man freezes right on spot. "What the fuck?" I whisper out as we watch the crazinest happening right before our eyes. "How did he just...freeze?" Beharie asks. We watch as she yells move and he is back to talking like normal before she says something else and he freezes again.

"What on earth?..." Beharie whispers out. We watch as the girl say something else and the man is moving again and she say something else before jumping into her car and leaving. The man walks back to the building and we both stand up from our spot. "I'm going to call the guys so we can all meet up, this mission just got much more dangerous" I tell Beharie and she just nods in astonishment.

An hour later we are all sitting in the boys apartment since it's the closest one. Me and Beharie tell him about the events of the day and we all sit there in silence thinking about what this means. "I don't think she understands what she is capable of, she looked scared to me" Beharie says out loud.

"Which makes her even more dangerous to everybody, we have to get her and bring her to headquarters before she figured out how powerful she is. The fate of the world is really in her hands right now" Rodriguez says and we all nod. "So how are we going to this exactly?" Bomer asks thinking the same thing as the rest of us.

"Did she take the job?" Rodriguez asks me and Beharie. "We really don't know, we have to see tomorrow because we wasn't close enough to hear them" Beharie says. "I also think we should add more surveillance cameras around the inside and outside of the building" I tell them and he nods in agreement.

"Okay good, while you two are at 'work' tomorrow me and Rodriguez will set up some cameras at her apartment and then tonight we will gather more intel about this family she used to live with and also her on family" Bomer says and we all stand in dismissal.

Me and Beharie both leave for the night and to our joint apartment which is in the same place as the targets. "Do you really think she is a threat?" Beharie asks me after a moment of silence. I keep my eyes on the road as I think about the question.

"...I believe she can be if she was put in a situation where she had to be" I tell her truthfully as I think of the woman who looked like she couldn't hurt a fly.
