I lay in bed almost two hours after the office "incident" thinking about how much I fucked up things with Toni. A long groan escapes my mouth before a knocking in my door causes me to sit up. "Ken?" And just like that the tension that I've been trying to avoid since she came in shots up. "Ton-" "please Ken jus-just kiss me" she says pleadingly before connecting our lips together.

"Yara do you think Uncle Kenny and Toni made up?" I ask as we sit in bed watching Jeepers Creepers. "I don't know Chi, Uncle Kenny looked pretty pissed when we walked into the house earlier" she says passing the popcorn she has to Aunty Demetria who adds her two cents. "Yeah I don't think I've ever seen Kenny look that angry but maybe he will channal that into something else" she says mischievously causing me and Yara to groan "ugh grosss we don't want to hear about that" I say throwing a pillow at her as we all laugh except Miles who is in his room sleep.

"Well I'm just saying y'all should be praying for that to happen imagine how much more laid back he might even let y'all go to that party that y'all was talking about earlier" she says with a slick smirk making us laugh.

"Nahh he isn't that laid back" Yara says. It quiets down as they go back to watching the movie but my mind wanders off. I hope Uncle Kenny makes the right decision.
