Toni- I sigh as I step out of the car and into the crisp evening air and the music from inside the ballroom immediately greets me. I quickly make my way inside and marvel at the beauty I see. I sigh as I take in all the beautiful people in their fancy dresses making me feel like the ugly duckling. I run my hand through my freshly curled hair before I catch sight of Denise standing by the food table talking to her husband so I quickly make my way over to them.

"Hey Denise" I say smiling at her and she squeals and takes me into a hug "Toni oh my goodness you look amazing" she says pulling away so she can look at me fully. "Me? You look gorgeous, and you look great also Will" I say to the handsome man and he smiles and kisses my cheek "thanks Toni and it's great to see you again" he say before turning to Denise "I'm going to go check on the kids and make sure they aren't getting into anything" he says nodding his head towards the back and I chuckle as I watch all the little kids including Tamar play around in the corner.
I turn to Denise as he leaves and she smiles at me "you honestly look great Toni, I'm so glad you are okay Ken had us worried" she says making me frown. "What did he tell you?" I ask her before looking around trying to spot him. "He just said you was at home resting, but you passing out had me worried" she says making me smile at her concern for me. "I'm good now Denise, where is Ken at anyway?" I ask and she immediately scowls at the question.
"Over there with Ms. Thang" she says and points towards a table in the middle where Ken, his mom, Demetria, and Jazmine all sit laughing at something Jazmine says. I feel the green monster inside of me rise and I turn to look at Denise and she smirks at the look on my face "oh girl I am already ahead of you" she says and we make our way towards the table.
"Oh Kenny you are so funny" Jazmine says in her snotty voice as she runs a hand across his arm and he blushes. Demetria and Jennifer, his mother, eyes widen as I get closer and Denise clears her throat loudly making both of them jump and Ken immediately stands in takes me in. "Toni?" He says and my jealousy is temporarily put on a back burner. "Hey baby" I say before finding myself in his arms and he holds my face gently in his hands as he stares deeply in my eyes.
