23: Date night.

Amelia Greene's Pov

You know the feeling you get when you're about to do something. Yeah, it can be nervousness but at the same time excitement and I'm feeling it now.

My whole body was humming is excitement and anticipation. I can't say how nervous but also happy at the same time.

"Amy, stop moving." Hannah glared at me.

"I'm not." I protested.

"Oh really now." Hannah rolled her eyes and knowingly pulled my hair a little to harshly.

"Ow."

"I swear I'll eat all your gummy bears and skittles after this." She threatened me with her eyes in slits.

I gasped and looked at her in disbelief. "You don't know where they are though." I smiled smugly but my smile wavered when her eyes gleam dangerously at my words.

"Oh you mean three packs gummy bears at the last drawer of your dresser which have false bottom and also two packs of skittles under your bed on the box that has your old stuff." She ended with a sinister laugh and smirked at my horror stricken face.

"Ho-How..." My words died on my throat unable to think how she found that out. No one knows about my hidden gummy bears and skittles. No one.

"Now now." She closed my mouth that I didn't knew was open. "Are you gonna stay still when I'm doing your hair and make up?" She asked sweetly but with evil smile.

"But I was still." I pouted looking at her.

"Now close your eyes." Hannah ordered and I complied without any arguments. She started doing her thing on my face humming a song I don't know.

I think of all the places Zander could take me but I was clueless because I've being on a date and I don't know how its suppose to be or where a person takes another on a first date.

After I got home from school, I did my homework and babysit Jayden for a few hours because Clair called and requested me to babysit Jayden for today as his babysitter caught flu and couldn't work today. I went back home after Clair was back from work. She always come back home early as she works at her father's company as any regular employee.

She wished me luck for today and when I asked for what she smiled and said, "For your date...with Zander."

I blushed when she smiled knowingly at me. "Thank you." I whispered and before I know it she came forward and hugged me tightly. I was taken by surprise by her action but still I returned the hugged.

"I'm so happy. Take care of him." Clair whisper softly in my ear after which she let go of me.

I was confused what she meant by take care of Zander. He don't need any one to look after him because he's no longer a kid but I nodded my head not wanting to be rude.

"And it's done." Hannah clapped her hands excitedly and squealed breaking me out of my trance.

"You look so beautiful Am." She gushed after I had opened my eyes. She turned my chair around and made my front face the mirror. I gasped at the sight and smiled brightly. I do look and feel pretty. I stood up and hugged Hannah murmuring my thanks to her.
