Amelia Greene's Pov

I was in good mood today because it was an important day for Zander and for our school which automatically makes it an important day for me too.

When I woke up, Zander was not beside me. He went away before I woke up and the side of his bed was cold which meant he woke and went away earlier than I had expected.

He left a note and even though the note was short it made me smile.

Didn't wanna disturb you so I didn't wake you up.

By the way, you were looking so beautiful.

I smiled shyly at the beautiful part. We cuddled all night and he was so warm, like a big teddy but even better than a teddy.

I looked at myself in the mirror and gasped at my reflection. Zander thought this was beautiful?

My hair was a mess, looking like a nest. I had a dry drool at the corner of my mouth and over all, I was no where near beautiful.

I groaned and put my face in the palm of my hands feeling embarrassed that Zander saw me like this and he thought I was beautiful.

"Amyyyyyyyy." I snapped my head towards my bedroom door when I heard Hannah's voice.

I heard muffled voices due to our distance, Hannah was probably talking with my mum so I quickly gave myself a once look over at the mirror and exited my room.

I was wearing Zander's jersey with black skinny jeans and wore my red vans that I had hardly ever wore.

I descended down the stairs and stood beside mum. "That's -" Hannah started to say but was cut off by the doorbell.

"I'll get it." Mum said walking towards the door. She opened it and we heard Clair's voice.

"Yes, they are still here." Mum answered to whatever Clair had asked and opened the door wider for her to enter.

Clair came in with a wide grin on her face along with Jayden. She was dressed up in casual clothes but the shirt she wore caught my attention which was exactly like Hannah's t-shirt which had 'Team River Valley' written on the front.

Hannah was wearing a white coloured T-shirt while Clair had a black coloured t-shirt on.

Clair was coming along with us to watch the match and to see Zander play.

"Amy." Jayden ran towards me and hugged my legs. I chuckled at his cuteness and lifted him up.

Gosh, he was heavy.

"Hello Jayden." I kissed his cheek and he smiled widely.

He started telling me about the new set his mum bought for him and how amazing it was and how he wants to show it to me.

We heard a bark and Hulk came running towards us. He looked up at us with his tongue out and breathing heavily.

"Hulkyyy." Jayden yelled at the sight of Hulk and wiggled in my arms. I let him slide down and he started playing with Hulk.

"I hope it won't be any trouble for you." Clair said with a hint of doubt in her voice.

"No, absolutely not. He would be giving me company and also Jayden is such a sweet heart." My mum said ruffling Jayden's hair who looked up at her and smiled then went back to playing with Hulk.
