45: College.

If you're re reading this part again then you would find a change in college but fret not, just the name of the college is change and nothing else.

I changed it because people were kinda unhappy and complaining about the said college so I changed it. Hope this is fine^^

Amelia Greene's Pov

We swayed slowly matching the rhythm of the soft music playing in the background.

My cheek was pressed over his chest hearing his heart beat with my one hand on Zander's chest while the other around his neck. He was holding my waist and his cheek pressed on top of my head.

The moment was just..perfect.

It was so perfect that it ache to think that it would be over soon, we would have to pull back and get on our way back home. We would have to, eventually.

Our peace was interrupted by someone who tapped the mic to get the attention of everyone present on the dance floor.

I lifted my head and turned towards the stage to see that it Dylan, I turned around fully in Zander's arms, my back pressed on his front.

Dylan was standing on the stage with a mic and an envelope in his hand. He grinned cheekily at everyone who glared at him because he had deliberately interrupted us all.

"Don't give me all that glares, people." Dylan chuckled. He was accompanied by Riley our student council president. Riley smiled widely towards the crowd.

"We are here to announce the..." Riley said slowly and turned towards Dylan. They both smiled knowingly at each other and yelled turning towards us.

"The prom King and Queen."

The crowd cheered when they heard prom King and Queen. Everyone started clapping and their face were masked in excitement and anticipation.

"So, Our Prom King is..." Dylan said looking at the crowd. Everyone started yelling out names about who they think would win.

"Is..." Dylan stretched the moment and opened the envelope slowly. His grin fell off when he saw what was written on the the paper that he pulled out from the envelope and his eyes grew wide.

"Kyle Anderson?" Dylan whispered but everyone heard it due to the mic so close to his mouth.

Everyone cheered and started looking around for Kyle. I saw Kyle fist pumping the air and the girl he was dancing with congratulated him. He grinned at her and gave her a smack on her lips.

Zander's chest vibrated as he laughed. I smiled shaking my head at Kyle's player ways. That girl wasn't even his girlfriend.

He walked through the crowd as everyone clapped for him. His expression turned smug as he wore the crown and smirked at Dylan's way.

He blew Dylan a kiss making Dylan flipped him the middle finger. He stood arrogantly on the stage beside Riley, way too close to Riley who looked like she was enjoying his closeness.

"And now, the prom Queen is..." Riley smiled widely towards the crowd who once again started yelling names about who the prom queen might be.

"Is..." Riley opened the envelope pulled out the paper. She grinned looking towards us and yelled. "Tiara Banks."

The crowd cheered on as she walked up the stage and wore her crown. I clapped genuinely happy for them.

"Now, the dance." Riley said looking at Kyle and Tiara, she left the stage but not before winking at Kyle.

Kyle smirked at her retreating form and took Tiara's hand. They walked down the stage and towards the dance floor.

The music was turned back on and my favourite song came up- 'I don't wanna live forever' by Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift.
