“If you think I’m taking the sofa you’ve got another thing coming Nickolas!” I screamed at him as he tried to dump me on the sofa. He had slung me over his shoulder like the barbarian he is and tried to dump me on the sofa. I quickly grabbed onto his waist and refused to let go. “Never!” I screamed as he grunted and tried to remove me.
“Yes, you sure as hell are taking the sofa cause I refuse to sleep on it again.” He grunted as he tugged on my arm trying to remove it, which only caused me to grip his waist harder.
“Not today, not tomorrow, and I will never ever sleep on that miniscule thing!” I screamed.
“What makes you think I’ll sleep any better than you on that?” He asked and I froze. Using my moment of weakness he grabbed me and was about to dump me on the sofa when I grabbed onto him again screaming no.
“Please. Not the sofa! Please please please don’t leave me on the sofa.” I begged. He grumbled.
“Why should I?” He asked as his lips pulled into a cunning smile.
“Because if I’m the freaking guest! I don’t want to take the sofa! Just sleep on the sofa like you did last night when I was drunk!” I screamed. I was going to walk into his room before he grabbed my arm and tugged me to him.
“Thalia, I don’t care! Just take the stupid sofa!” I shook my head furiously as I tried to run to my room. He rushed over and wrapped his arms around my waist to stop me from reaching his room.
“Nick, just let me take the bed!” I screamed. He shoved me onto the sofa.
“Thalia, just take this sofa.” Nick said dangerously, I shook my head stubbornly.
“Never. Nickolas, I refuse to take the sofa. What are you going to do about it?” I hissed out angrily. Nick got off of me and walked into the kitchen and sat down at the counter as he put his head in his right hand as the started to think.
“Fine! You don’t want the sofa, I don’t want the sofa; it’s simple. We share the bed.” He challenged as he laughed humorously. I froze, what is wrong with him? Has he lost his mind? “What’s the matter princess? Scared?” He challenged. I knew I would regret this eventually but I couldn’t ignore his challenge, unable to swallow my pride, I stalked into his room with my head held high. I took my pyjamas out of my closet which was actually sweats and a tube top. I got changed and climbed into bed next to him.
“Stay on your side and I’ll stay on mine. Hands off of me and above thecovers. Don’t think about anything gross while I’m in here.” I snapped as I dosed off.
I woke up alone as I crawled out of bed and slipped into a pair of jeans and a white top that had a sad face on it. I brushed my hair out and braided it into a side braid. I grabbed my book bag and walked off to the kitchen where I was greeted by the sight of Nick in his boxers drinking coffee.
“Dude, we’re going to be late for school.” I stated as I stole the pack of coco puffs he was going to pour into his cereal bowl. He growled in frustration and tried to snatch it back but I had finished the last of them. He glared at me acidly.
“Can’t get a good night’s rest, can’t get my breakfast, god what else are you going to do?” He grumbled to no one in particular.
“Just get changed so you can drive me to school.” I shot at him.
“Apparently I she just turned me into a chauffeur.” He grumbled. He walked into his room and got changed, grabbed the keys and drove to his parent’s house to pick up Ant. I sat in the backseat as he grinned and sat next to me and kissed me.
“Hey Lia.” He said happily. I grinned Ant was my boyfriend, he was nice, caring, funny and the perfect guy for me. I leaned against him into his chest, I sighed contently but it somehow felt wrong. I shrugged the feeling off but I felt the feeling of eyes burning into me that started once Ant got into the car become even more unbearable. I shrugged the feeling off and forced myself to relax, Ant began to stroke my hair which helped but it still felt wrong like I was cheating.
Mimi met me outside of school and dragged me off. “Spill, I know you don’t like Ant, why are you dating him?” She demanded furiously.
“He asked me and I was so desperate to find a way out and find a distraction and Ant was there and one thing led to another. And he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said yes." I barely whispered the last bit out. Mimi sighed and gave me a one armed hug.
“My dear friend, it sucks to be you.” She teased as I laughed with her.
“but I can see myself falling for him.” I defended and she rolled her eyes.
“Lia. There’s so little you don’t know about love. One of it is you cannot force love, you either just accidentally fall in love or you don’t. It’s that simple. You'd be delusional if you thought that.” Mimi said softly.
“You speak of it as if you know a lot about it.”
“I do.” Mimi sighed. “I know a lot about it.” With that, my innocent little bunny like friend walked away to class.
