Oh.....My.....God!!!

KORRYN

I left Quiante's house without even giving him an explanation. I hit I-10 doing at least 110....I had to get to my sister, and if the police decided to try to stop me, they was gon have to meet me at my house. I called Kasey back and she was in a state of panic. She was still bleeding but refused to tell me how heavy. I pulled up to the house and jumped out of the car. I ran into the house and found Kasey on the floor in the bathroom. It wasn't a multitude of blood but it was enough. Somehow I found the super strength to pick Kasey up and carry her heavy ass to the car. (Mind you, Kasey was at least 200 pounds.) "C'mon little sis..I'm gonna get you down the street as fast as I can." I said to her trying to stop her from crying so much.

Quiante was blowing up my phone....I could not talk to him right now...I had to know what was going on with my little sister first. There was no way I could talk to him right now anyway, Kasey was in the back seat, screaming and crying her head off.

I got in the car and zoomed down the street with my emergency flashers on. 3 minutes later, I arrived at the hospital. I don't know how I did it but I did....I ran inside and grabbed a wheelchair. I picked Kasey up again, miraculously, and placed her into the chair. I wheeled her back in and screamed for help.

The hospital staff asked for me to calm down, but I refused to until my sister was seen immediately. The waiting room was absolutely full, but I did not care. My sister had to be seen.

"Before you piss me off even further by asking me to calm down again, please take my sister in the back, SHE'S MISCARRYING!!! We need you to help save the baby!!"I said to the nurse standing in my face looking stupid.

As soon as I said miscarrying, she wheeled my sister to the back, while I stayed up front filling out paperwork. I was so nervous, I could barely fill anything out. I'm out here doing paper work, while my sister is in the back....by herself . I thought.

KASEY

Oh my God...This CAN'T be happening...God please save my baby!!! I'm sorry I wanted to terminate it, but please don't take the baby in this way....PLEASE GOD!!! I thought while I was lying on the gourney watching the lights as I passed under them.

The nurse wheeled me into the room and left me there for about a minute or so. After that minute, a knock was at the door.

"Hi Ms. Bynum, how are you today?" The doctor said.

"Sir....fuck the small talk, how's my baby?" I said, taken aback that he would ask me a stupid ass question like that at this time.

"Your baby is fine, but I do have a question..." He said, giving me a strange look.

"What doc...what?" I said, returning the strange look.

"Have you had sex within the last few hours?" He said.

DID THIS MAN REALLY JUST ASK ME THAT??? IS THAT THE REASON I WAS BLEEDING??? I DID BUT I DIDN'T WANNA SAY IT OUT LOUD....I MEAN HE IS THE DOCTOR, HE KNOWS THAT I HAVE....

"Y...Y...Yes sir...I have....is that why I was bleeding?" I asked, feeling embarrassed.

"Yes ma'am..that's what caused the bleeding. It usually happens within the first trimester or so....but your baby is fine and has a very strong heartbeat." The doctor said as he sanitized his hands to leave.

"The nurse is going to clean you up, and I suggest wearing a pad for the rest of the day...." The doctor said as he left.

REALLY??? WHAT AM I GOING TO TELL KORRYN??? SHE'S GOING TO KILL ME!!! SHE'S GONNA KNOW WHO I HAD SEX WITH...IT'S VERY OBVIOUS....JOSEPH CAUGHT ME AT MOMENT OF WEAKNESS...I HAD TO.....LAAAAWWWDDDD....WHAT AM I GON TELL THIS GIRL?? I thought.

After the nurse cleaned me up, I left out of the back and as I was leaving, Korryn was on her way to the back...looking very frazzled might I add.

"WWWWhat did the doctors say??? Is the baby ok??" Korryn asked.

"The baby's fine...can we talk about this in the car??" I asked walking towards the emergency exit doors.

Korryn gave me the strangest look but I ignored it and kept my head down until reached the emergency exit door.

KORRYN

This ain't sitting right with me....the baby is fine but why was she bleeding??? Unless she's been having sex, which I know.......DAMN!!! She done started back up with Joseph again......but imma give her the benefit of the doubt and hopefully that's not what she wants to tell me.

I walk behind her and got in the car. For some reason, she was still standing by the emergency exit doors like something was bothering her. After I started the car, I rolled the window down and said, "Can you come on and get in this car so you can tell me what's going on with my niece or nephew please???"

I felt like I needed a cigarette, even though I didn't smoke nor did I drink.

She walked to the car and sat down. I pulled off and patiently waited for her to open her mouth, but she didn't.

As soon as I was about to say something, my phone rang. "DAMN!! I forgot all about Quiante. SHIIITTT!!" I said.

"BABY!! Are you alright?" Quiante said so concerned.

"Yes baby, something was wrong, or so I thought was wrong, with my sister, but she's ok now. Thanks for checking on me baby! I love you and I will see you later on tonight." I said

"Ok my love...I love you too!" Quiante said and hung up.

Kasey was still sitting over there quiet....I think she was hoping that I wouldn't ask her anything but....that's her ass.

"Kasey.....so before I tell you what I know, I wanna give you the benefit of the doubt.....tell me why you were bleeding." I said to kasey trying not show anger.

"Korryn, you the genius....you tell me!" Kasey snapped.

I slammed on brakes.....I pulled over into a nearby gas station and threw the car in park....

"Look Kasey.....I'm sick of you throwing the genius card in my face. You could've been a genius if you tried....I'm sick of that shit. But what I know is, you have been having sex again!! Kasey...." Korryn said.

"Ya damn right I have, and it was amazing too!!" Kasey snapped again.

"Look Kasey.....I know you have your weaknesses but you need to stop messing with Joseph." Korryn said trying to speak calmly.

"Who are you to tell me what the fuck I need to do....you are not my mother....LAST TIME I CHECKED, my mother was dead." Kasey said, rolling her neck.

"Look lil girl....I am the person who's taking you in and saving your ass from dad!! I'm so..." Korryn said before she was interrupted.

"I DID NOT ASK FOR YOU TO COME AND SAVE MY ASS, DID I???? IF YOU'RE GONNA THROW IT IN MY FACE, AND THINK YOU CAN BOSS ME AROUND, THEN I'M DEFINITELY NOT COMING TO TEXAS WITH YOU!!!" Kasey said getting out of the car.

"KASEY!!! KASEY!!!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING???" Korryn said while rolling the window down and watching her walk away.

"WHEREVER YOU'RE NOT!!!" Kasey said.

I let her go....I did not want to upset her anymore and really make her have a miscarriage. I love my sister and I just want the best for her even though it didn't come off that way.

I didn't even get to share the good news with her.....I guess it'll have to wait.....

A FEW HOURS LATER

KORRYN

I pulled up to Quiante's house and walked into the front door....for some reason it was unlocked which was not like Quiante.

I walked to his room and found him on the floor in a little pool of blood.

Things were knocked over and I realized that, he.....WE...were robbed.

"BABY!!! OH MY GOD!!!" I said pulling my phone out to call 911.

"911 what's your emergency??" The operator said.

"We've been robbed...."
