Korryn hadn't said much since the funeral was over. Hell....she hasn't said anything since the funeral ended. All she's done was lie down ever since we got home. Kasey tried laying with her but I guess she pushed her away because Kasey walked out of the room crying. I went and laid down with my wife-to-be and she wouldn't say anything.
"Baby you want something to eat?"
She just nodded no.
"What about something to drink?"
She just nodded no.
"Baby you gotta talk to me. I can't help you if you don't talk to me."
Still no reply.
I turned her over and looked into her eyes. A tear fell from her eye and fell across her nose onto her luscious lips. I took my thumb and wiped it away. I kissed her lips and laid her on my chest. She just sobbed for the void she felt in her heart. I could read Korryn's body language pretty well and it's just taking a huge toll on her physically and mentally. She had not eaten all day and she refused to eat. All of this crying is dehydrating her and she won't listen to me. I gently laid her on the bed and told her I'd be right back. I went in the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water and made her sit up and drink it.
"Baby....I know you're upset. But you need to stay healthy. If not for yourself, for Kase and I. We need you baby."
"I need you guys too." She said and seductively crawled over to me and kissed my lips.
"Oh no. We're not doing this again. Everytime you're emotional, we end up making love or almost making love. I'm not making that mistake that we know we'll both regret."
"God. I don't know why I keep doing this. Baby I want you so bad right now. We gotta get married. Soon."
"Okay babe. We will. Soon."
Once she said that, I knew right then and there our plans for tomorrow. We were going to the justice of the peace to get married tomorrow. I'm not marrying her just so we can have sex as husband and wife but I'm marrying her because she's the love of my life and we should've been married. BEEN.
I went in the kitchen and cooked her favorite. I made her, Kasey, and I ribeye steaks with some loaded mashed potatoes. I brought Kasey hers first. She was still pretty solemn too but not as much as Korryn. I told her after dinner I wanted to tell her something and she agreed to talk with me after dinner. I went in our bedroom and handed Korryn her plate and made her sit up again. She didn't wanna eat but she really didn't have a choice. I,eventually, ended up feeding Korryn myself. I couldn't believe I had to force her to eat like this. After she finished eating, I made her and Kasey get up and put some clothes on. I took them out to the movies and to the mall. I bought them some clothes and shoes. Korryn's favorite thing to do was to spend time with me and our sister and go shopping but even after shopping, she still was solemn. Tomorrow though, she wouldn't be.
I took Korryn to David's bridal and made her try on a bunch of dresses. One dress she came out glowing in and said, this one is it. This one is the one.
