The Beauty In Our Fate

Prologue

Once upon a time in a far away land there lived a young prince who lived in a marvelous castle and even though he once lived happily with his family and friends he soon lost all that from night to day. When his most dearest ones and his love, died in a boastful battle.

He soon became greedy and spoiled, he started to live off to a point where he did not respect no one and became selfish and unkind.

But in one winters night an old beggar women came to the castle and offer him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed from her haggard appearance the young prince sneered at the gift for kindness and love was no longer within his soul.
So he turned the old woman away but she warned him not to be deceived by appearances for beauty was found within.
When he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize but it was to late, for she has seen there was no love left within him. And for punishment she transformed him into a monster and placed a powerful spell in the castle, and all who lived there.

Ashamed for his monstrous form the beast dragon concealed himself inside the castle only to have a small mirror to see the outside world he once lived in. But the rose the enchantress  had offer him was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his 21 first year, if he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the last petal, then the spell will be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast dragon for all time.

As the years past, he fell into despair and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a monster......
