Down fall the Autumn leaves
Like tears of the unheard
Once there was a summer breeze
But not the days grow cold
The once green leaves have turned to red
Like your words will change her soul
You try to apologize
But that won't change the pain she has endured
The leaves dry up
Her smile fades
Raked away and hidden
Down fall the Autumn leaves
Like her limp lifeless body
Next time hold your lips tight
And think before you speak
Author's note: So I wrote this for my reading class for bonus points since I know that I'm going to flunk my test lol. Does it relate to Fall enough ?
