Even after we recover
When we are finally over the self mutilation
Sometimes we still stay up at night crying
The urge to start again
The urge to feel the pain
The urge to end it all
It all comes back to us
Sometimes we can stop it
Fall asleep before we fall apart
Sometimes we can't
We relapse
The urge was too strong
We could be years clean
The urge will still be there sometimes
We just have to fight it
One day I pray that we will all be over it
That the urge won't ever come back for anyone
