Chapter Fifty-six

I wore Jake's shirt, kumuha ako ng boxer niya sa closet niya. Nilagay ko sa isang tabi yung damit ko. Nilingon ko siya bago ako lumabas ng kwarto. He's still asleep, it's just seven in the morning and I'm about to make our breakfast. I want a granola bar, but...oh well, I'll just make some pancakes for the both of us and of course, bacons. Pumunta ako sa kusina at tinignan ang laman ng ref. I saw some bacons and some meats. Kinuha ko ang bacon. Binuksan ko ang drawer sa taas para humanap ng easy made pancake yung mixed na. I smiled to myself when I saw one.

Humanap ako ng mixing bowl. I mixed it and cooked the bacon at the same time. Saktong inaayos ko na yung kakainan namin nang magising si Jake. I heard him shouting my name like I'm missing or something.

"Jiezel!"

"Babe! Fuck! Jiezel!"

Kumunot ang noo ko at sumilip sa living room, malapit lang kasi ang kitchen sa living. I saw Jake, palabas na siya ng pinto.

"Jake!" I shouted.

He looked at back at me. He sighed in relief and ran to me. He hugged me and kissed my forehead. My heart beat became so fast. What's with him?

"I thought you left." He said.

Napa-awang ang labi ko. Oh Jake...

"I was cooking something for breakfast." Sabi ko.

He let go of me and held my face. He kissed my face then my lips. I kissed him back. He pulled me closer to him. I pulled away.

"Hoy, baka masunog ang pancake!" Sabi ko.

He chuckled. Hinila ko siya papunta sa kusina at pina-upo sa stool sa breakfast bar.

"Bacon and pancakes and Jiezel." He said.

I giggled. "Let's eat!"

Kumain na kaming dalawa. I was eating my bacon when I felt Jake's hand on my knee. I looked at him. He looked at me and smiled then continued eating. He's playing with my knee. He just keep doing that until we finished eating.

"What do you wanna do now?" He asked.

"I want to go surfing." I said.

"Hm, I have surf boards in my yacht." He said.

I smiled. "Great!" I said.

He smiled. "You love the beach so much." He said.

My smile widen. "Bata palang ako mahilig na ako mag beach. Seven years old yata ako nung ginusto kong matuto mag swimming. I tried surfing when I was eleven, since then surfing became a hobby to me. Also, riding a jet ski. I also go to the beach when I was in high school and Eiji is always—"

Napatigil ako sa pag kukwento dahil napatigil din siya sa pag kain. I bit my lower lip. I mentioned Eiji...I don't know why I have this feeling, but I think it's a bad idea that I mentioned him.

"Eiji?" He said.

I stayed silent, Thinking of a word to say.

"Yung first love mo?" He asked.

His voice sounded rough and mad.

"Uhm...yes." I said.

Uminom siya ng tubig.

"So, mula pala highschool mag kakilala na kayo?" Sabi niya.

I nodded and ignored his serious stares.

"I see. That's why he's your first love." Sabi niya.

Hindi ako sumagot at nag patuloy lang sa pagkain. I don't need to say sorry, right? It's not like I wounded him our something.
