Chapter Thirty-seven

Matapos kaming mag swimming ni Jake sa The Poseidon. Dumayo kami sa ibang Villages para makapag-swimming at kumain kami ng lunch sa St. Tropez Village. Niyaya ko din siyang kumain ulit sa Costa del Sol Village. Those seven villages are all wonderland. I love them all.

When the night came, Jake and I went to Thanassis Taverna to have dinner. Sa roof deck kami. Mas magandang kumain sa labas eh. Para kita ang stars. Hihihi.

Jake and I already have the menu and all I can say is, their food here are expensive – not that I can't afford it – But, I think it's too expensive, lalo na kung kuripot pa ang isang tao. Talagang mamamahalan dito. Bacon and eggs costs three hundred and fifty pesos? That's–what?! May ginto ba itlog nila dito? Sinabi ko kay Jake na siya na ang umorder.

"I'll have this, Moussaka, Bureki and–babe  do you want a soup?" Tanong ni Jake habang naka tingin sakin.

I smiled. "Yes, sure." Sabi ko.

Tumango si Jake. "Trachanas Soup and for her is, Pastitsio and flamed cheese. We'll order some dessert later." Sabi ni Jake.

Nung umalis na yung waiter ay nag katinginan kami. Oh, our drinks would be white wine. He insisted that.

"So, do you still want to stay here until tomorrow?" Jake asked.

I smiled. "Yes, I actually want to stay here until Friday but you have to attend your classes." Sabi ko.

He smiled and held my left hand na nakapatong sa mesa. Our hands are intertwined to each other.

"Babe, it's okay. I can skip class. I'm not going to fail. We can stay 'till Friday." Sabi niya.

Wednesday kasi ngayon. So we'll stay here for three days.

I smiled at him. "Okay, thanks." Sabi ko.

Nag kwentuhan lang kaming dalawa ng kung ano-ano then our foods came.

"Wow, this is delicious." Sabi ko.

"It is." Sabi ni Jake.

Kumain kami ng tahimik ni Jake. Masyado akong focus sa pagkain. It's so delicious kasi! Darn!

"Tikman mo to." Sabi ni Jake at sinubuan ako ng beef.

"Hm, this is good." Sabi ko.

He smiled at me and continued eating. Matapos naming kumain ay bumalik na kami sa kwarto namin. Actually our room have a terrace outside. May dalawang upuan at isang table sa tapat at syempre may bubong yon. It's like a front terrace. Tambayan ba.

"Hm, what shall we do now?" Tanong ko at humiga sa kama.

Tumabi naman sakin si Jake. We looked at each other. Kinuha niya ang kamay ko at hinalikan yon. Damn! My heart is beating so fast again!

"Hindi ka ba napapagod? I think we should rest. Kanina pa tayo pagala-gala." Naka ngiting sabi niya.

"Pagod ka na ba?" Malambing na tanong ko.

He smiled a bit and nodded. "Kinda." He said.

"Tulog na tayo?" Tanong ko.

"If you want to go out you can. But I really don't want you to go out." Naka-simangot niyang sabi.

Ano ba talaga? Akala ko ba pwede akong lumabas pero ayaw niya?

I giggled. "Why? Dyan lang naman ako sa labas ng kwarto natin." Sabi ko.

He shook his head. Hinigpitan niya ang hawak sa kamay ko.

"I don't like the way the other guys look at you earlier. Kanina habang nasa Phuket Village tayo, yung mga lalaki doon kung makatingin sayo parang aagawin ka na sakin." Sabi niya.
