Chapter Forty-one

Nag kulong lang ako sa kwarto hanggang mag alas tres ng hapon. Wala akong ginawa kundi ang tumunganga at isipin na si Jake ay ang Mr. Four ni Megan. Gusto kong maiyak pero hindi ko naman alam ang dahilan kung bakit ako iiyak. Instead of crying, I laughed my ass off like a stupid psychopath. Nanonood ako ng nakakatawang movie.

When it's already three thirty napatayo ako mula sa kama at nag punta sa banyo para maligo. Mag kikita nga pala kami ni Eiji ngayon. Simpleng gray v-neck shirt at maong short lang ang soot ko. I partnered it with my sketchers rubber shoes. Yung may heels. Hindi na ako nag mascara. I only put light make up. No eye shadows. That's too much.

Then I went to AM's café. I don't wanna call that café with its real name because it's so ugly. The café's name is Ariamazing Café. What an awful name for a café. More like an internet café than a coffee shop. I rolled my eyes. Bakit ko ba pinapakielaman pa yung pangalan nung coffee shop? Oh well.

When I arrived there, it's already four fifteen. Eiji wouldn't mind if I'm late right? Wala naman siyang karapatang mag demand. Tss.

After I parked my car, I went inside the coffee shop and looked for him. I saw him near the glass wall. I bit my lower lip. Kinakabahan ako. But I can do this. I'm Jiezel Pace!

Nag lakad ako palapit at na-upo sa kaharap niyang upuan. He looked at me with his shocked expression. But eventually, he smiled sweetly. I want to roll my eyes at him because he knows that his smile is what I love most. Darn.

"Jiezel...you're here." He said.

I arched my eyebrow. "Yeah, I'm here." Sabi ko at ngumiti ng pilit.

I should smile like I'm not affected anymore. Yes, I should do that. Ayokong isipin niya na hindi pa ako nakaka-move on. Well, naka move on naman na ako. Medyo...I just need the closure... I think?

"Order muna tayo?" He asked.

I nodded. "Okay." Sabi ko.

So ayun nag order nga kami. Nagulat pa nga ako kasi siya umorder ng sakin and he still knows my favorite coffee.

"Sorry, I'm still used to it. Hindi ka pala nag bago ng favorite coffee." Sabi niya ng naka ngisi.

"Ikaw din naman. You still love the bitterness of Espresso. Ew." I rolled my eyes at him and he just laughed.

Hindi ko alam pero parang gumagaan yung pakiramdam ko habang natawa siya. Hindi ko na napigilan at kumawala na ang tawa ko. I giggled. Gustong gusto niya talaga yung mapait na espresso na yun. I don't like it. Masyadong matapang.

"Kaya kasi akong ipaglaban ng espresso." Sabi niya.

I laughed. "Nakiki-uso ka sa mga teenagers? Kapeng kaya kang ipaglaban? Really? Kailan pa nag karoon ng buhay ang kape?" Sabi ko.

He chuckled and shook his head.

"As sarcastic as ever." He said.

"I'm used to being sardonic. I'm a satirical bitch." I said.

Why am I feeling comfortable? Because I missed him. Tsk.

"Anyway, how are you? Its been years." He said.

Oh now I feel uncomfortable.

"I'm doing great. How 'bout you? Haven't seen you since..." Hm, kailan ko ba siya huling nakita?

"I'm fine. I have businesses around the world." He said.

"Oh. That's good." I said.

He chuckled. "You became more successful. You have lots of businesses too and... a model." He said.
