Chapter Sixty-three

"Where were you?"

Yan ang salubong na tanong sakin ni Jiedez nang maka-uwi ako. It's one in the afternoon. Nag lunch pa kasi ako kasama sila Angela. Yeah, we've all decided to have  no strings attached. Also, I have their numbers. Kapag nag kayayaan nanamang mag inuman eh, kami-kami nalang daw ulit ang mag ka-kasama.

"Dyan lang." Sabi ko at nilagpasan siya.

"Jiezel Antoinette Pace!" Sigaw ni Jiedez na nakapag patigil sakin.

Gulat akong napalingon sakaniya. She looks so damn mad and tired. I've never seen her like this.

"Where the hell were you last night?" Matigas niyang tanong.

Napa-awang ang labi ko. Hindi ko siya masagot, alam niya naman kung nasaan ako kagabi.

"Alam mo bang halos ikutin ko ang buong Makati para lang hanapin ka! I was calling you! You never answered the phone! Someone told me that you were in Danger Zone Club but when I got there you're gone. So, tell me, where the hell were you?" She asked angrily.

"I went to a hotel." I said.

She sighed. I was shocked when tears started to fall from her eyes.

"You don't know how worried I am! I almost got lost from finding you! I called all the person I know you're connected with. I even called Jake! I almost called the police station to find you! Ano ba Jiezel?! Wala ka bang pakielam samin mga nag-aalala sayo?! All you care about is your pain and your love for Jake! You don't care about us who truly cares for you! Kay Jake lang umiikot yung mundo mo! When will you fucking let go huh?!" Sigaw niya.

She's right. I only think of my pain and Jake. I didn't even thought of them. Especially her. I must say that Jiedez is the best sister, not because she's my only sister, but because she will actually do anything for you.

I went to her and hugged her.

"I'm sorry." I said.

Umiling siya at hinarap ako sakaniya. Kumunot ang noo niya nang matitigan ako sa mata. Nag iwas ko ng tingin pero hinawakan niya ang panga ko at hinarap sakaniya.

"Nag drugs ka?" Galit niyang tanong.

I gulped and stayed silent.

Lumayo siya sakin. She scoffed.

"Bullshit! How many times do I have to fucking tell you that never! Never ever take drugs again! Have you forgotten?! You're in the Philippines Jiezel, and the president of this country doesn't like people taking drugs! Gusto mo bang makulong or mapatay ha?! Don't do the same mistake again! Don't take the same path! Don't fucking lose yourself again!" Sigaw niya.

Natahimik ako. This is not the same path. I think this is much worse.

"This is happening to you again because of your love for Jake! I thought you're smart?! You're the richest bitch in Japan! You're the smart ass, why are you so damn stupid now?!" Sigaw niya ulit.

I bit my lower lip.

"You would understand me if your love for Jackson controls you." I said.

She laughed sarcastically. "Who said I love Jackson?" Tanong niya.

Nagulat ako doon. I stared at her. Wide eyes.

"I love Antoine and that's not gonna change!" She said.

But she and Jackson are...what the hell?

"From now on, you're going to tell me everything. Kung saan ka pupunta, kung sinong kasama mo at bago mag ten ng gabi ay dapat nasa bahay ka na!" She said with authority.
