The Elementals - The Journey Begins - BOOK ONE

Chapter 1- The Beginning

26 June 2021 -  adding some things so it fits with the second book because i  have a back story for willow which is talked about in the second book.   

 I must say i started writing this book when i was teenager before i left it for a while to focus on other stuff like schoolwork etc. so i think in my opinion the writing of the book get better after a few chapters.

 In the corner of a dark rotten dungeon of a dark castle there was a scared girl. She was wearing a pale blue dress that was covered in dried up blood. She had long brown hair that came down to the bottom part of her back. Her hair was messy like it was a birds nest. She has bruises all over her arms from were the guards had grab her. the girls name is Willow. She didn't know her last name or even if she had a last name. No one told her. No one cared. All Willow has even known is the four walls of the dungeon, That all she knows. As long as she could remember she had been in that rotten dungeon for many, many years and for a long time She never felt  the love of a family or kindness of someone's heart and didn't even knew what that meant to have those things. willow can control one of the four elements and that is the element of Water. the reason why she is in the dungeon is because she didn't want to do what she was told anymore. she didn't want to be used as a weapon so in result Willow wasn't allowed to use her gift. She was only allowed to do it when the master throws  special events  like the one the night before. the events are extremely high guarded and every move willow makes is well watched.willow at these events dances around with the water in time with the music in front of the master and the men and women of the kingdom that come to these events. The same grand powerful people that come are swan to never ask questions about the girl and what she can do. If they do they did they weren't alive the next day. . This is the only thing in her life she enjoys because she gets to use her powers. she wasn't forced to use her gifts to hurt people bringing them to their ends. Willow sometimes wonders about her parents what happened to them She never knew them. but things she heard about them she was glad that she doesn't know them. Willow was made to believe that she is a monster and that's why she has to stay in the dungeon to protect the other people. She was scared that she was going to be living this life till she dies. She wants to live a happy life, to be happy for once. She wants to feel love and she wants to know how kindness feels like again. The only time is when she happy is when it show time which doesn't happen much. She gets to dance in stage for the local villagers that life in the dark kingdom. The villagers want to help Willow to be free but the last person who tried to help Willow be free ended up dead with his head cut off which  scared the villagers and Willow didn't want no more help from them because she is terrified of the man, the master that's keep her prisoner within dungeon. The voice give her nightmares. He was always in the shadow. He goes on how he cares for Willow and that he doing this for a good reason. Willow didn't understand what he means but she didn't want to know because all the good reason Willow could think about what that the good reasons were bad. Willow hated the dungeon when winter comes. it's all cold and wet. Willow is only aloud thin blanket at this time of the year but it doesn't help that much to keep her warm in the cold nights. And it horrid place to be when it pouring down with rain because the water runs down the walls of the dungeon and in the bucket that sat on the over side of the dungeon. It her hands weren't covered in chains she would be able to use that water to get the keys so that she can unlock the chains on her hand and feet. But she was too scared to but today. Today is going to be different.

" it's show time" Willow looked up from the corner of the dungeon as the guards came towards her unlocking the chains from her feet and the pulling her up to her feet. " move it! the master doesn't like waiting" the guard said in a deep voice. Willow slowly walked with the guards to where the stage is. Once on the stage the guards took off the chains " don't try anything".
