chapter 23: I thought he was mine

* Avery's POV*

" This party is great Justin" I yell to him with all the noise behind us. This Halloween party is amazing!!!! I'm having so much fun here with him and all his friends. We have been dancing al night. Out of nowhere this blonde chic appears and goes beside Justin

" Hey Justin. Long time no see. Last time we saw eachother was in your house at night" She places her hand on his shoulder and smiles. I'm not getting a good feeling about this girl and what she just finished saying isn't going in me very well. I know I'm not his girlfriend but we are really good friends soo ya.

" Hey Amanda!! I've missed you. That night was really fun!" Ummm what is he talking about. I give him a look of confusion and he notices " Oh um this is Avery a really good friend. Umm Avery this is Amanda my umm ex girlfriend." WHAT!!!!!!!! his ex girlfriend! Did I hear wrong. I'm going crazy I think OMG I cant believe this! But why am I over reacting so much he's just a friend nothing else!

" Hi nice to meet you. We all start as Justin's friends but then we end up having some fun." She comes over to me and hugs me but I don't do anything. I'm paralyzed, I cant move and don't want to! What does she mean by " we end up having fun". So many questions are going through my head but I cant handle it

" Umm I'm gonna go outside. I need some fresh air.............. bye!' Well that was awkward. I leave them starring at me but I just leave and walk out the door. When I reach outside I take a long breath in and out trying to calm down.

" What did she ever do with Justin?" I whisper to myself. I know she was his girlfriend but what were the things she did with him? Did they sleep together, have sex, make out?? So many questions are going through my mind right now! But I need to calm down and forget about her. Justin and I are only friends, nothing else. I turn my head around and see Justin's friend waving to me to come over where he is.

" Hey Avery. What's wrong? you look sad. Did Justin do something?" Lucas asks. How can he realize I'm sad. He puts his hands on my shoulders and pushes me close to him

" It's just, well.... its stupid"

" Whatever it is, it wont be stupid cuz its coming from you. A perfect, beautiful girl!" Wow all his friends sound like flirts... LOL I like it!!! It's probably the only way I will feel better. I blush at him and smile

" Well Justin just introduced me to his ex girlfriend Amanda and I don't have a good feeling about her. I don't like her and I think I might be jealous! It's stupid of me, I know."

" No one likes her Avery! Eric and I are the ones who made him break up with her cuz shes a bitch, a slut, and a user. Trust me Avery, just likes you ALOT!!! He never stops talking about you. If you ask me, I think he's in love with you, he's just to afraid to admit it. Don't worry Av everything will be ok, Justin hasn't seen her probably like for 5 years. He's over her!!" Lucas pulls me in for a hug and kisses me on the forehead. I lift my head up and kiss him on the lips. Just a cute, friendly kiss, no I don't like him I just needed a kiss LOL! " What was that for" He likes at me all red

" Nothing. I just needed to feel loved and you made me feel loved...... Thank you!" I smile

"  No problem. Now do you want to go back inside cuz it's a little chilly out here?"

" Sure lets go in but I'm not talking to Amanda that little ass. What kind of costume is that? It must be called slut punk since she spiked her hair and is wearing a bra with booty shorts!!" We both end up laughing at my joke.
