I read over the letters with tears in my eyes.
I love Maxon so much. This moment was so hard to go through, it's hard to even think about.
He was so mad at me. We were both so hurt. He didn't even know he was accusing me of being with a man with a girlfriend.
I'm happy that we're together. I couldn't be happier. But I wish we didn't have to be reminded of our love for each other by him being shot. I've always wished I was the one who took the bullet. I know he survived, but he was in pain and almost died for my sake. I would die to save him any day. And I know he'd do the same.
Love is the most painful happiness.
But now he's fine, we're married, we have kids, we're king and queen, and we're happy. One big happy family. One big happy family that will hopefully get a little bigger soon.

"You want to what?" Maxon asks shocked.
"I want to go to town to the orphanage," I restate.
"Why?"
"I want to spend time with the kids. Maybe I can help clean or something as well."
"America. I don't know."
"Please Maxon. We need to help the local community."
"Well I'm very busy so-" Maxon starts.
"I'll go without you," I interrupt.
"Wow thanks."
"I mean I'll go tomorrow while you're having your meetings all day."
"Fine. But bring some guards with you."
"I will."
"When will you be back?"
"Dinner."
He sighs.
"I'll be safe," I promise him.
"Good. I love you to much to see you get hurt."
I smile and hug him. He hugs me back.
"I love you too," I say.
Ahren makes noises and we look at him. He giggles and reaches for us. I pick him up.
Maxon's laying on the bed and I'm sitting next to him with the kids in front of me on my pillow.
"How's my little boy?" I ask.
He touches my face and I smile.
"He has so much energy," Maxon complains.
"That's a good thing."
"No cause I have to keep playing with him while I'm trying to work."
"Just put him in your lap he loves to be held."
"That would've been nice to know..."
I smile and get up.
"I'm putting them to bed," I say.
"Alright."
I bring them to the nursery and put them in bed, leaving them with the nanny.
I go back and Maxon's asleep.
I smile, turn off the light, and go to sleep.
