"How pretty," I say as Eadlyn twirls around in her new pink dress and her tiara.
"I love it mommy!"
"I'm glad. You have to be careful though. You can't break your tiara."
"I won't."
She hops around the guest room.
Maxon comes out of the bathroom with Ahren, both of them in their suits.
"Look at my handsome boys," I say.
Maxon smiles as Ahren goes over to Eadlyn.
He whispers something to her and Maxon comes over to me. He takes my hands and kisses my cheek.
"You look beautiful my dear," he says.
"You think so?"
"I know so."
I smile and peck his lips. He kisses me again, holding me against him.
The kids giggle and we look at them.
They're both making kissy faces.
"Don't make me get out the tickle monster," Maxon threatens.
Eadlyn sticks her tongue out.
Maxon goes over quickly and tickles them.
I smile as they giggle.
We're in France for Daphne's birthday. We're staying here the guest room for three days. All five of us are sharing a guest room, but it's nice and big. There's two beds and a private bathroom. She's definitely making sure we're being treated well. She's having a birthday ball tonight then a few guests will be staying two extra days, like us. It's very exciting. It's nice to have a break and spend some away time with my family.
Maxon picks Eadlyn and Ahren up, one of them in each arm. I laugh.
"All of your outfits are gonna be messed up before we even get there," I comment.
"That's ok," Ahren says.
"No it's not. We need to look nice."
"But we're having fun."
"That's ok."
Maxon puts them down. I fix their outfits and grab Kaden who's in a mini suit.

"Keep your eyes closed," Maxon demands.
"I am!"
I hold his hand tight as he blindly leads me somewhere.
"Where are you taking me?" I ask.
"It's a surprise," he says.
We take a few more steps when he suddenly picks me up. I squeal and hold onto him.
"Relax. I got ya," he says sweetly.
He walks for awhile then puts me down.
"Alright. Open your eyes," he instructs.
I open my eyes.
We're in the guest room, but it's a little different.
There's candles and rose peddles everywhere.
On the desk is wine and letters with a rose.
There's still an hour until the parties over, giving us plenty of time to be alone.
I smile at him.
"I wrote the letters last year. Read them later," he says.
"Too embarrassed to let me read them now?"
"Yes. You reading them later is a little less embarrassing."
I smile and kiss him.
