Marco didn't say a word when he found out about Valerie's sin.

Instead his nostrils were succumbing to the strong and powerful cocaine that he had snorted only a few minutes ago.

He felt as if he was melting into the darkened oblivion he was imagining, his large body being devoured by a sea of white matter drowning him into the unknown.

Marco inhaled loudly, almost choking from his own viscous saliva as a small amount of blood ran from his nostril down to his lips, he had never bled once in his life from using cocaine and by now he was a seasoned veteran so he found it rather peculiar.

Touching the blood with his index and fore finger he kept his concentrated gaze on them while completely zoning out and ignoring what was actually happening at that very moment.

Valerie screamed at the top of her lungs before flinging a chair across the room.

"Will you calm her down?" Jesse shouted over the commotion of Valerie's tantrum.

"I'm telling you we've got to go." Nick stated once more watching as Valerie tore a heavy framed portrait off the wall and flung it over at a window and only missing it by a few inches.

Jesse shook his head as he stared down at the pile of cocaine in front of him with such disbelief, they were really out 5 million dollars because of Valerie Isabelle Laurent.

"Pack your shit Jesse, we need to go." Nick stated rather calmly while he ran his hands repeatedly through his black hair as Valerie continued her temper tantrum.

"Valerie." Marco quietly uttered as he rose from the sofa he was seated on.

Valerie put her back against the wall behind her, "I can't go back I can't." She said with her glossy eyes and quivering lips.

Nick cautiously watched Marco's sly and disoriented actions as he cautiously strolled towards Valerie who was for the worst part having a complete mental breakdown because she didn't want to go back home.

"You're okay." Marco reassured whilst holding his hand out to Valerie who was just as confused as everyone else.

Marco swallowed the lump that had formed inside of his numb throat, taking a deep breath he pulled Valerie in for a hug without warning.

Awkwardly shuffling around both Nick and Jesse disappeared from the living room to go back to there rooms to pack their things.

"Why?" Valerie questioned holding onto Marco as he did the same, stroking her brown hair he then grabbed onto both shoulders and gently moved her a few inches away from him.

"Nothing is going to happen to you." He said softly while she only paid attention to the blood that was slowly seeping from his noses nostril.

But he knew, Marco just knew that no one, not him, Nick, Jesse, or Valerie would be safe.

"Oh no." Emily muttered to herself quietly as her eyes landed on the sight of her manic daughter and Nick, whom she believed to be the devil in disguise.

Pushing her oversized Burberry sunglasses to the top of her head, she looked over at Grace and their guest with an apologetic smile before returning her attention back to Valerie.

"Valerie, you're back so soon from your trip." Emily chirped as she clasped her hands together.

"Yeah things got cut short, Marco just dropped us off." Valerie replied approaching the table underneath the wooden gazebo where sitting underneath the patio at a glass table set was Grace, Emily, and a handsome young man beside Grace who resembled Idris Elba.
