Suddenly, I feel a lot better, Like a rush of relief. Like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I must've been dying to do this without even knowing.
"You okay?" Chance asks me as he lays his arm around my shoulder

We leave the graveyard and we drop mom back at her's then head off back home.

From the look on Ruth's face, I could tell she looked more comforted. I guess this really did help.
On the drive back home, I think about taking things further with Ruth. I don't think she's 100% ready for anything serious but I really wanna move back in with her. Stacy's becoming more bearable now but seeing her and Max together still makes me angry.
"So... Ruth,"
She looks over to me and I'm instantly putty in my seat.
That sounds weird for some reason.
"I was thinking about... moving back in?"
Ruth gave me a look that gave me warm butterflies inside, I'm guessing yes?
I flash her a bright smile and focus back on the road.
