For the rest of the night and next morning after our incident with Joe and the rest of the group, I sat far away from the bearded man and his two people. They probably don't trust me since I came from Joe's group.  Daryl would sit with me for a few minutes then he go over to talk with the bearded man. The woman and the boy were in the car apparently sleeping. I don't see how they could sleep. They just watched this man ripped out another man's throat with his teeth. We've all seen Walker's do that. But a living person its just unimaginable. The thing is, I've seen worse. Daryl walks over to me and sits down.

"Hey." He says.

"Hey." I said quietly. I look down at the ground.

"Rick wants to meet you. They are good people. Better than what Joe was." My jaw clenches at the thought of joining a different group. The only group that I've ever joined was Joe's and that didn't go well. I didn't even trust them enough to be sleeping. My eyes cut down to Joe's body as the blood was still flowing out of his neck. I could see the copper bullet poking out of his head to make sure that he stayed down.

"They were your group before you met Joe?"

"There was more of us. Things happened and we got separated. Rest of the group is either dead or at Terminus." Daryl says.

"Terminus, that's where they're heading?" I look up at him.

"Yeah, I know Joe said it was a lie but we gotta check it out." I didn't know what to say. I couldn't think of anything to say on the matter. I'm okay with going to terminus but I wanna look for Jay. I also want to stay with Daryl. I don't want to leave him. Then I think, he's not my responsibility anymore.

"Its alright if you don't wanna go. You said your sister might be alive somewhere. I get it. I just thought you would still be with me, ya know." He mumbles over his words as I look up at him. He seemed to be embarrassed to admit this. Why wouldn't I leave him? He was the first real guy to be nice and not ask for anything in return.

"If Jay is dead then you're the only person I trust in this world. Where you go I go." The words came out easily. Normally it be hard for me to admit things like this but it was easy to tell Daryl. I didn't have to seem like I didn't care. There was no point of hiding my true emotions. I already told him my life story as he told me his. Daryl looks at me.

"Where you go I go." He says back. Daryl stands up lending me a hand as I stand up. We walk over to the bearded. He didn't have blood on his face anymore.

"Rick this is Harley. She is the one that kept me alive in the group. She isn't like the others. You can trust her." Daryl says. I look at the bearded man warily. But then it hit me.

"Rick Grimes?" I looked surpised. It's been a few years. I've only met Rick a few times but thats all I would hear from Shane. "I'm going to Ricks". "Rick and I are getting drinks." Rick was Shane's escape from our father.

"You know me?" He asked a bit taken back.

"Harley. Harley Walsh. Shane's sister." Ricks jaw dropped. Daryl tensed up. Everything froze. How does Daryl know?

"Shane." Rick uttered like it was a ghost.

"Yeah, you guys were in high school together. Graduated together. Skylar, Harley and Jasmine. Didn't you marry your high school sweet heart? What was her name Lauren?" I tried to think.

"Lori. Her name was Lori." He sad back coldly. I struck a nerve. I bit my lip anxiously.

"Yeah Lori. Is she around? I was certain when the shit hit the fan Shane would be with you. Y'all were cops together." I laughed uncomfortablely. Rick scratched his head not sure how to answer.
